Hello everyone!

As some of you may know, I recently posted about how I’ve been going through a bit of a Fullmetal Alchemist phase as of late… and it’s BAD. I can say with certainty that this has gone into hyperfixation territory at this point, and unfortunately that means that my obsessive tendencies are starting to kick in. So long story short- I commissioned another doll. Though in my defense, I mainly went ahead with it because I already finished the down payment on Ran, and this one is going to be significantly cheaper.

Anyway- If you saw my previous comments about FMA, then you’ll know that the character in question this time around is none other than Solf J. Kimblee. Yeah… a weird choice, I know. 😭 Admittedly my taste in men is a bit questionable, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and I’m in love with him. There hasn’t been any significant progress made on him yet since I only just worked out the details with my artist last night, but I have a feeling that the process is going to go way faster than Ran due to his design being so much simpler. Right now I’m waiting on the digital sketch for the face up, and as usual I couldn’t be more excited. It was an impulsive decision on my end, but I have a feeling it’ll be worth it! As usual, I’ll keep this blog updated as progress is made on both the boys, so look forward to it!

Hello everyone! Long time, no post— As you could probably guess, not much has been happening lately in terms of doll stuff, so I haven’t really had all that much to post about. But since we’re now in the third month of waiting for Ran, I figured it was time for a little update!

There hasn’t been TOO much progress since my last post, but I did get my very first pictures a few weeks ago! The artist made a rough sketch of the tattoo on his body, and I’m honestly shocked by how complex and detailed it looks. They replicated it almost perfectly, and I can’t express enough how excited I was seeing it. There’s already so much work going into him, and I’m so thankful that the artist is willing to go through all this trouble to make sure he’s the best he can be. 😭💜 I was also told that his clothes would be started in November! I don’t remember if I already mentioned it or not, but I’m getting a casual outfit commissioned along with his uniform, so I’m really looking forward to that!

In terms of payment, I’ve made 3 so far. Which means that next month will finally finish off the down payment! I thought I’d be able to relax a bit after that, but… I ended up getting into a new fandom this past month, and I’m already debating on commissioning yet another doll of my favorite character. But that’s a topic for another post—

Anyway, the wait has been agonizing and my doll fever is still going strong. But I’m doing my best to keep myself busy! Time has been going by pretty fast lately, so hopefully soon I can finally show off my boy (maybe boys if I cave-) 🥺. I’ll update again next month, so look forward to it!

	Hello everyone!

As you all probably know from my consistent yapping, I commissioned an artist last month for a full custom Dollfie Dream of one of my all time favorite characters, Ran Haitani from Tokyo Revengers. This is a HUGE project, and as such, it’s likely going to take a very long time to complete. So I wanted to make this blog as a sort of way to document the journey, keep track of the progress and just have a place to ramble while I wait for him to finally be complete.

It’s been a month since I first contacted the artist and began working out all the details, and right now, I’m in the process of paying off the down payment (which I’m about halfway through). I’m actually really surprised as well because the artist has already started working on the doll. I had assumed I’d be on a waitlist until October or that at the very least, they wouldn’t start the commission until I finished the down payment. But it turns out that they’ve already started on his wig and eye mods, so I’m SUPER excited. So far the only picture I’ve gotten is the digital sketch they sent to give me an idea of how the faceup will look (which was SO precious btw), but I’m already bouncing off the walls. I can’t wait to see him start coming to life. 😭🙏

Anyway, I’ll be updating this blog as I get updates from the artist. The wait is gonna be agonizing, but I know it’ll be worth it in the end. So look forward to it! 💜
