Will Acrylic Yarn Stain Vinyl??

Hello! So, I've seen a lot of discussion on which fabric and thread colors will stain our dolls however, I haven't seen yarn discussed that much. I would assume natural fiber yarns would have more staining risks, especially dyed ones! However, I was unsure if acrylic yarn would stain as it is plastic. Does anyone have any experience with this? I like to knit items for my doll, but have definitely avoided super dark colors due to this uncertainty. 

 

My only experience with knits is with a few Kaleidoll sweaters I have. I have a Berry colored one that I worried would stain, but I have had it on dolls for months without any issue.

For sure it's not wool, but I suspect it is some other natural fiber.

Acrylic is not dyed, it is made that color, so it doesn't stain. It's my go to fiber because there are more and brighter colors.

Yeah, acrylic yarn has the best colors in my opinion and they are more predictable than machine/hand dyed natural fibers. My best guess was that acrylic doesn't stain, but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!
