Mini Sweets Doll/Amamusu head on Obitsu 22/24 body?

Has anyone tried to put the head of a Mini Sweets Doll/Amamusu on one of the larger obitsu bodies like the 22 or 24cm? I’m particularly interested in how Leek, Laurier, or Chamomile would look, since their facial proportions seem a bit more like they could be suitable for the larger bodies. I’d love to see some pictures of how it turned out if you’ve tried this.

The amamusu dolls that I own only have the more chibi-looking sculpts, but I did a little test to see if amamusu heads are functionally compatible with any of the larger 1/6 obitsu bodies.

It looks like they fit on the neck pegs just fine so there wouldn’t need to be any modding. As for the aesthetics, the 24cm turned out just as I expected, the neck looks too long and the head looks way out of place with its baby-like proportions.

However, the 21cm body worked surprisingly well and didn’t look as out of place as I thought!

 So I’m feeling optimistic that one of the more mature-looking amamusu sculpts could potentially work pretty well with one of the 1/6 bodies!

I’d still love to see any pictures you guys have if you’ve tried it out yourself!

Another update:

Proportionately it’s pretty good but it does have that issue where the neck seems awkwardly long because of the way that the head connects to the neck. But it’s not noticeable when wearing clothes that cover the lower neck, in which case it looks really cute!

I have now ordered a Chamomile and obitsu 22 body myself and I will upload pictures too when everything arrives!

Yoichi’s body and clothes just arrived, and this hybrid looks way better than I expected!! I’d love to see more people put amamusu heads on the 22cm body, it looks really cute!

Oh, wow!  I did not know those parts were a thing!  So good to know!

 

very similar to how i ported my Megahouse/ALTER Konomi Yuzuhara from her native OBITSU 23 to the OBITSU 26.

i had to cut the neck vinyl down a little, but i think she turned out great.

the way i see it, she got an aging-up to right around fifteen or so;

I hope you don’t mind me posting here but I loved this hybrid and I made my own with my Snow Vanilla and Obitsu 22 body! He’s a work in progress still but I’m loving him!

Thank you SO much for posting this! I found a Dollce head that was EXACTLY what I was wanting. But I didn't want an Obitsu11 body.

 

I actually won't mind the longer neck of the Obitsu 22; the character the doll is going to be has a longer neck.
