First time custom

Hello, I’ve just gotten into this because a friend was showing off their custom Hatsune Miku. Was wondering if anyone could help me make a custom of Beatrice from Re:Zero. Any help would be very much appreciated. 

It helps to post an image or a link so people would at least know what to attempt....

Anyway, to start I think she'd be a good MDD or DDPretty body, as she's very short. Not a mochi-achi MDD, because the art tends to give her tiny dainty legs & feet.
Semi-white skin...  DDH-10 head?

I don't know where you're at, or what sorta budget youre setting up.....  but I find a good place to start is looking at Y!J auctions custom heads. Can get lucky and stumble upon the perfect look to either buy (will need proxy service), or save all the images to try & paint her yourself in the future, or to use as examples when commissioning a custom make-up later

Yeah you're probably looking for a custom artist. They are expensive most of the time (if you account for the amount of time it takes to learn and the supplies that are needed it's not THAT expensive but still,) but they can do what you want if you give proper instructions.

The last part is super important, don't just throw them a picture of the character and let them do whatever because you probably won't like the end result even if they are skilled. + You're effectively making your own doll, so it helps to have a picture of what you want. Anyways good luck!
