WhiteRabbit's Smart Doll Photo Thread (Updated 02/05/24)

Deciding to give my Smart Doll specific photos a place to live. I do have an existing photo thread of my DD girls also if you want to check them out 

Anyway, back to the Smart Dolls.

Here's my OG Smart Doll girl is Sana  She is in the tea skin tone and has her original eyes and wig. I like both on her so I never bothered to change her up.

A new arrival recently entered my group and I have to say, I'm a bit obsessed. 

Meet Prowess, who I have renamed Fern.

She is in the cocoa skin tone, default wig and eyes and added SMD elf ears. 

 

I am super happy opted for Prowess, her face is just adorable and the cocoa skin tone also is beautiful in person. Stay tuned for more to come

Long time not post 😅 How is everyone? A few weeks back (or more now) I was able to snag myself a new SMD girlie for the crew! I am pleased to introduce Sol.

She is a SMD Fortitude (anime style) in tea skin and her default wig/eyes. I was a bit on the fence on her painted teeth at first, however, I'm pleased to say in person they are very cute and really make her a bit different from my other girls. She is also on the new Evolve frame, which I am liking so far. She feels very solid, way more sturdy then my other two Smart Doll girls. Most importantly, her freckles are SOO cute! XD 

Anyway, meet Sol! She love the warm weather and nature, I can't wait to get her out for a proper photoshoot. 

Congrats!  She's so lovely!  I adore the freckles!

Thank you! I am really happy I opted for her when she popped up on the site. I'm not sure how hard they to track down, but if you find one I'm sure you'll enjoy her. 

I took Sol out into the garden for a few snaps today, sense she loves the warm weather, I couldn't let summer sneak by without her going out at least once. I took a few of the DD girls out too so stay tuned for those on my other thread.

Fern is channeling winter elf vibes and is ready for snow.

 

Sana got a overdue refresh and is cozy in the Volks pink winter coat (though, I anticipate her goal is style and not warmth ^^;).

They both look great!  But that white shirt Sana has on is super cool!  Where did you get that?  I know a few of my girls who would love to have one!

Sweet!  I need to buy a few more doll stands from them anyway so I'll throw a few of those shirts on the order.  Might get some more maid sets too if they have any I don't already own.  😉

Looks like some girls are ready for Christmas.

They have that innocent look on the photo’s but you can clearly read their thoughts. They are going for the chocolat, cookies and other candy.

Dropping in with a semi impulsive addition to the SMD crew... 

Welcome, Legion. 

When this girl dropped I was shocked at how much I loved her look. I didn't own any "semi real" style dolls, I generally prefer the anime esthetic. Something with this girl just clicked though... I scooped her up in the second wave of releases, but due to the time of year she was destined not to be let loose till Christmas. 

She's a beauty in person, I love her teal hair and eyes. She's a bit tricky to photograph, but I am sure I'll adjust to that soon. 

I opted for her in "tea" skin, i just really love that skin tone option for the smart dolls. 

and of course, a mandatory Santa hat shot before the holidays officially end. 

I've debated changing her name, but I haven't thought of anything I love, so she shall remain Legion for now, or maybe for always.
