Wonderously_Strange's Doll Dabbles

Hey there! I decided to make a thread for all my photos I take of Mirai and her future buddies. If the links ever break, let me know, no matter how old this thread gets.

First off, I just had to take some photos of the iconic Smart Doll bag arrival pose! I couldn't quite get her to balance how I'd wanted to in the bag, but I'm quite happy with the results. 

I really like how sweet she looks in this one, peeking out from inside the bag!

Isn't she just adorable?

I also took this photo of Mirai in my backyard. I like how warm she looks! This is also the pose I tend to leave her in. 

Mirai wanted to show off her new outfit that arrived today!

Mirai's just such a sweet, photogenic girl!

Fixed a typo!

Finally took Mirai outside for a photo in her outfit!

I really like how Mirai's hair looks in this photo. I really need to get a new backdrop (mine has gotten a bit... dirty), but it still does the job for now!

Here's Mirai with my new boy, Tsubasa! I just love the height difference between them.

Thank you so much! I'd initially struggled photographing her, since I wasn't used to her size, but I feel like it's becoming for natural for me now! It helps that she's a great model.

Tsubasa has the Sister boy body! It's honestly perfect with his face.

The Servant of Evil outfit came back in stock, and I managed to snag it! I was so certain it wouldn't ever come back, so that was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, a button has already fallen off of one of the sleeves (and gotten lost...), but it's a really nice outfit nevertheless. [/url]

A while back, I tried MEIKO's outfit on Mirai! It was a very tight fit, so I doubt she'll get to wear it again, but I managed to get a few cute photos of her in it!

Shame it's not the best fit! It really does look good on her!

Mirai makes a very convincing Meiko. :3

WAIT WHEN DID IT COME BACK

I'd already assumed I would never be able to get it, so I started planning a sewing project to make my own version. I just looked it up and I can only find sold-out second-hand sales of it...is there still any hope to get it?

It's in very low quantities, but it's still available on the Japanese Volks site! They ship worldwide, which is how I was able to get it from the U.S.!

Thank you sooooo much for the link, I just placed my order! Bookmarking the home page too because so far I've only interacted with Volks USA's online store.

These two haven't gotten photos in a while, but I was inspired today. I bought Tsubasa the Relax Shorts outfit a while back, and he's absolutely adorable. 

This photo is endlessly amusing to my sister, because shortly after I took it, one of my cats knocked them over, and Mirai was... kind of groping Tsubasa's chest. 

On another note, I have some exciting news! I was talking about wanting the Miku Dollfie, and an online aquaintance of mine (she was actually one of the people who helped me learn more about Dollfies!) mentioned that she was planning to sell hers, since she's just been sleeping in her closet. She's currently holding her for me, so I picked up some extra hours at work, to save up for her! I'm so excited to meet her, as are Tsubasa and Mirai!
