UFdoll UMA Best Series 1/12 scale blind box

Ah yes, some more of our currently beloved blind box dolls. This time something a bit more animalistic from good old UFdoll.

Quite honestly, I got curious about these because I really want the gray rare one, because it looks a lot like my pet cat Silky. 

But this is where my problem starts and I would like to ask the people in the forum for help, because as much as I search, I cannot find a Taobao listing for these little guys/girls with opened boxes, and on Ali the cheapest listing I can find is 60€ which I am not willing to dish out without having seen if it would be cheaper on Taobao (which I am almost certain of). 

I was looking at these cuties as well! I fully can't use Taobao, so I'm not much help there. But overall, I have noticed that's about the price Ali typically has for the rare ones of any blind box doll. I'm not sure you'll find anything cheaper sadly.

These aren’t available for general sale yet. They should be available in 4-6 months.

Any ready stock or unboxings you’ve seen are from people who preordered the all-in sets, which ship out a few months before they’re available for general sale.

I see ... so anything out there esp. on Ali basically could be considered scalper prices? Seems waiting for the general sale is the smarter choice here. Or would you say 60€ is a fair price for a secret color and unlikely to be cheaper even when the general sale starts?

I consider AliExpress prices to be scalper prices because they usually just resell from Taobao, but their prices are often seriously jacked up even when they aren’t reselling.

If you still want to buy from there, you might want to ask if they actually have it in stock or if it’s a preorder. Sometimes the listing doesn’t mention it’s a preorder, and the buyer protection on PayPal has already expired by the time it ships out.

FYI the only shop I found on Taobao that sells ready stock unboxed sold the gray one for CNY 265 (~EUR 34). They’re all out of stock now except for the orange/brown one.

Yeah, I usually try to avoid buying anything doll-related on Ali due to the unfair prices, unless it is really impossible for me to find the source/a better option.

But as expected, that is a way better price, haha. Could you maybe tell me the exact search term for this set so that I can have an eye on possible future listings?

I just searched ‘uma ufdoll’ and a few listings popped up. From there, you can image search or check the related content at the bottom to find more listings.

Taobao doesn't let me search directly and if I search via Superbuy or Parcelup I don't get any results with that prompt, sadly. 😅

What about ‘ufdoll bjd’? If you can navigate to UFdoll’s Taobao store, you can find the listing on the front page and maybe find related listings below? (Idk how these proxy sites work)

I do actually have the link to UFdoll's Taobao store in one of my resources documents, but that site has become so unusable by now, I can't even access that anymore. Could you maybe send me the link from the listing that you found? I can put that directly in the search of the proxy sites and go from there to related items and sellers.

Sure, here’s the one to the listing for these dolls on UFdoll’s official store.

I’ve been seeing these dolls pop up more on Taobao lately, so they might be available for general sale now.
