I've long collected figures, doujinshi and other such wonderful things. I've wanted a Dollfie for a long time and now I have one! Aside from stuffing my existence with pieces of expensive but gorgeous plastic, vinyl, paper and other material substances I enjoy photography, travelling, diving, gaming (electronic & non-), anime, etc. etc.

I'm particularly pleased to see another face from Japan 'round these parts, in fact. I don't know whether there are any here as lurkers, but other than my own family, you're the first I've seen speak up!

After a long, long absence I am back. This time, to stay! Apologies for bumping my own topic; I wanted to share some more photos of the lovely Yuria with you all. She's just acquired a keyhole turtleneck, otherwise known as "that sweater" (例のセーター).

Welcome. Your girl is very pretty. This new keyhole sweater album is quite cheeky, but she wears it well. You're lucky to be in Japan since you have domestic access to the biggest market. I wish I could go trawl through Mandarake stores and go to the big doll conventions for parts, outfits and second hand dolls without having to pay proxy fees and everything.

Thank you! Living in Japan's a huge advantage for the hobby. Being able to pop over to the nearest Volks location or to Akiba Doll Point if the nearest place doesn't have what I'm looking for is pretty great. Not to mention being able to participate in the live lotteries, even though Volks don't do them any more. (Which is a shame; I liked the feeling of the event even though it often involved freezing in the streets of Akiba for hours.)

 

Speaking of the live lotteries, Yuria's no longer my only girl. I also have Sinon, for whom I've recently hunted up some alternative matériel: Sinon with M4A1
