The notion that it would be too costly to make bootleg vinyl versions is kind of outdated, you can make lower-quality molds for a low cost-of-entry and these heads are definitely mass produced (the listings have thousands of sales). I bought one out of curiosity, and it is definitely not resin 😟 Be aware that some of them are also being sold with fake certificates and in packaging that can make them look quite convincing at first glance. Starting sometime after July 7, 2026 (exact date unknown, could be a few weeks), tariffs will likely increase to at least 12.5%, based on the Trump Administration's claim regarding Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974. "... the United States Trade Representative determined under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 that the acts, policies, and practices of 60 economies related to the failure to impose and effectively enforce a prohibition on the importation of goods produced with forced labor is unreasonable and burdens or restricts U.S. commerce, and are thus actionable under Section 301(b) of the Trade Act." Those "investigations" into forced labor should be taken with a grain of salt, as the Trump Administration miraculously investigated all of these countries in the matter of a few months, picking and choosing their own data, to support Trump's demand for more tariffs. Tariffs may increase more when the reports on "structural excess capacity" in manufacturing are announced. -

Respectfully, I’ve gotta disagree. I don’t think any of the heads you have will match a semi-white body. The Obitsu heads might come the closest, but Obitsu Whitey is still very different from Volks Semi-White. This blog post compares various skin tones, and as you can see Flesh/Fresh/Normal is closer to Whitey (although still not a perfect match since FS is darker in real life), while Semi-White is closer to Super Whitey. TinyFox is not only too white, but also kind of yellowish, and probably out of scale if you have old 1/4 body parts.
