Interesting! - Depending on the device I'm using, I'm getting either the correct image or the spacer.png.  Right-clicking the spacer links to Discord, where it says "Content no longer available". So the original image was deleted and therefore can't show on the forum anymore. For whomever the image still works, your computer probably has it cached from an earlier visit. But this one is a case of of the original image being gone, not of a picture privileges issue. - Still would be nice if people could use image hosts that keep the images around for a while and not just for a few days.    Extra hand poses are always a good investment. They give your doll so much more expressivity and posing options. A small comb and a dust blower are great care items if you don't have those yet.

It is really weird, I was one of Danny’s biggest supporters early on from back in the Culture Japan days. I had a couple of OG SmD but mainly collected DDs so I did not keep up faithfully with that community until the whole Volks dolpa debacle happened and I was really disappointed in his apparent lack of respect for Volks. Then I followed along here for a while and was astonished at how much he had changed from the CJ days. Anyway, I started checking out his Twitter posts a year or so ago, maybe longer and other than the early “selling boys/not selling/selling” which was quickly resolved, I have not found him to be unreasonable. I was scared to death to respond at all in the beginning but gradually I opened up and gave opinions that were sometimes positive and sometimes not so much. But I am always about it and he responds in kind. I was expecting a monster and found a person. I am not blind to faults and am certainly no sycophant, but I know that any of us would not fare well if a bunch of people picked apart every thing we did and said. Sure he has faults and he is a businessman. He is a chronic pain patient with a serious back issue and pain can make you very cranky. Would he benefit from a PR team? Probably. But his whole team is already quite small and very busy and maybe he likes being connected to the community. I have no idea. I do know that he tries to accommodate requests made within the community for dolls to return or for variations or different skin tones. I think that is nice. You don’t get that opportunity anywhere else with the exception of things like Volks Best Choice voting. I don’t know. I am not trying to make any excuses for things that I have read and followed in this thread. I wasn’t party to the happenings but I did not like the sound of the experiences. However, I have read and have been there for nearly every tweet for at least a year or more so I do have first hand experience on some of that and I wanted to give my perspective. I have been part of the DD community for almost 16 years and I have known many of you a long time. So I am not just a newbie. I just do not have a lot of chances to post these days. I think there are good and bad things about us all, but when you are the face of a company the ‘back bits are glaring and still it feels like Danny treats the communication as if it were on a personal level. Perhaps that is good in that he can be in close touch with what the community but also not so good for the same reason since it is a business and we are customers not really friends. I just wish things could work out for everyone 🩷. Love, Misheru

I can see it. I think the photo restriction is limited to attachments, but it seems like this person did what you suggested (except the photo is hosted on Discord).
