We had a wonderful doll meet in Port Jervis, NY yesterday! It was the renaissance faire meet. Of course, that meant my ladies spent the day at the beach! The renfaire stuff was awesome, though. There was even a 90s Hunchback of Notre Dame movie playset that turned out to be an amazing prop. My Yukino and Alna made it out for the first time in a while, and Eva enjoyed lounging in her beach chair. I don't believe I ever used this bikini before, too. I'm not 100% sure I have the top on her the right way, but it seemed wrong when I did have it on her what I believed the right way. Optimus Prime and Alf with his Alf Skateboard also made an appearance. Check out the outstanding henna, too! Group shots and highlights are below. ...I might add a Temari.😓 Her gap-moe character is growing on me (that's her serious attitude vs. her silly and immature antics - I'm actually surprised there isn't more "charisma break"-fanart of her, seems like the perfect type of character for it). There's a fabric seller near me that sells green and black leopard boa fabric, so I could even feline-ify her without the colours clashing too much with her wig... Well, I'm not sure whether Volks is ever going to restock certain heads at this point. DDH-05 has been out of stock for almost 16 months now at the Japan site...☹️ Here the main problem turns out to be the wig. Mirei Hayasaka has a difficult hair colour, there's one dealer with an almost perfect wig that is continuously out of stock, so I'm going to try to modify another purple wig to add the streak of reddish hair. Body acquired since the last time. The 2x DDdy silicone bust turned out to be a handful even with the Esquire Club Kyouka Suigetsu (verrryyyyy revealing) outfit that almost seems specially designed for use with silicone busts. Now I need a head and proper footwear. I still need to think whether I'm going to switch her from "pink fox" to "cat"...gotta say that those "shape first"-fox tails take up a lot of room. Well, with the weather continuously oscillating between "way too dry and hot" and "very wet" this one is on the backburner. This did not change. What did change: Elsewhere I related how I acquired a tan DDP body without head. Except I only thought of checking the availability of tan heads after hitting the order button at Mandarake...which of course turned out to be "close to none"😅 This problem likely has been solved via aftermarket resin MDD head. My choice outfit also turned out to work quite well, just need some suitable underwear and shoes, and then I can assemble my kyuubi walking disaster area. I did manage to get an additional DD-f3 body, but it needs some spares. What might change: There's a very cute head on Y! Auctions Japan that I'd like, but I really don't need even more MDDs... Asainu has started selling more cat tails (of all possible types, including extra fluffy). This...is a problem (FOMO triggered). Maybe I should just get a plush snow leopard instead.

Been busy lately, but I motivated myself to go take some outdoor photos again. Millicent and I had big plans, but unfortunately, so did the weather. No sooner than we were done with these pictures did it start to rain! I think my girls and I might have to start getting creative about the different types of photography we can do indoors instead!

Illya is biased and keeps insisting she needs more magical girls around - unfortunately, she's probably right. More magical girls is literally always the solution. My still-unnamed doll is too busy sulking about not having any clothes that fit to give me any feedback xD I am seeing a possible solution here though...

No, but you may need a dozen. Or more. You just don't know it yet. And have you asked your dolls?
