      Flattening Doll boxes

      The traditional yellow boxes are possible to flatten if folded down in the correct direction at the glued seam. The correct way is whatever one doesn't put stress on the glued joint, same as flattening boxes for recycling. Just be careful not to lose the ribbons, bag, or wig box that hold the doll and her accessories if you take them out of the original box. For the larger DD boxes that are slipcases (Miku, et al), it is probably possible to flatten them also with careful disassembly of the inner tray, but I haven't tried to actually do so. Could you avoid the issue by storing them on the top shelf of a closet somewhere, the area above the hanging rod that's useful for only spare boxes because it's so inaccessible without a stepstool?

      Currently in a dilemma where I have to decide between throwing away or dismantling a DD boxes. Is it possible to dismantle and flatten boxes without damaging them?

      H is for Hana. I took her to a last minute doll meetup in Brighton. I sneaked her into Ikea for a secret photoshoot but her leg fell off and that plan was foiled. No matter... After a depressing few minutes sat on a park bench trying to fix her hips we met up with a few other doll hoomans in the Hello Kitty Kuromi themed cafe.

      Dollremi have some good Dynamite outfits. Here's Towa in a Nekopara outfit: There's also Volks outfits from the old days. This vintage DDdy outfit is pretty cool. Sadly the leather leg holster has deteriorated... Some regular Volks outfits fit DDdy, like the dressy Alice set: Some outfits fit with safety pins... This is Asahina Mikuru's outfit: Finally a lot of SD outfits will fit, but watch for staining...
