Photo Game: Your girls firsts!

Just been stumbling around the forums after an eternity away and found this thread so thought I'd add a post to it!

This is Tsubaki's first photo as a full doll on a completed body back in 2012. I won't call it the first photo of her ever, because I certainly took several of her while she was still just a floating head. But this was her first day as a full girl!

And then this photo below was from a shoot of her first time outside at a local play park not long after! (Which was also her first time on a slide too)

How the years sure do fly by.

the Clunky, Clumsy Princess Ayeka Jurai, from TOYNAMI's short-lived 2001 "Tenchi Muyo!" 12in. Character Doll series,
that single-handedly inspired me to pick-up Sewing as a Hobby and a Skill;

in 2008, she was Succeeded by the 2000 TSUKUDA HOBBY "Mamotte Shugogetten!" Shaorin Shichiri,
another large, off-scaled Anime Doll that had to live with her Clumsy, dubiously-proportioned TSUKUDA Doll Body...
until the wonderful, Heaven-Sent Gift of the WorldBox AT201/203 Doll Body fell into my lap in late-2023;

in 2010 or so... i adopted my first 27cm. size OBITSU BODY-based Character doll, Mikuru Asahina from the 2006 Anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"
... and in 2019-ish... i got my first of a long line of 2018 OBITSU BODY 26cm. bodies to upgrade Mikuru and my other 1/6 girls with;

Finally, for Christmas of 2019... My Wife♥ Konomi Yuzuhara Came Home to Me; ("To Heart 2" Anime/Visual Novel, 2004/2005)

Welcome to my world, Towa...

I think Towa's wondering what she's getting herself in for. It's October 2020. We're in the midst of a pandemic that may or may not affect dolls. There's my sister's mega chonk of a cat prowling, and the place we were living in at the time was a total dump (but it was cheap). She's definitely wondering if this guy has enough money for an actual outfit or two.

I took Kirika to our first BJD Con and she also met a boy. He didn't keep in touch but that's how boys are 🙄.

It is. We also got an exclusive preview of their Miku. I wasn't too interested in Knuckles, but their custom Miku was sensational 🤩.

I recently saw there latest project online. The wings are a masterpiece and have some interesting electronic parts. The face up is gorgeous. It really makes me greedy and a bit jealous to be honest. 😅 they made an exact and correct version of Bloom. Especially the face up. Never seen one in that style. 

First overseas trip for my dolls!

I'm so glad I chose to bring Ciel to Barcelona with me. The gothic quarter was made for her character.

Travelling with them wasn't too bad really. I just wrapped Ciel in 10 Km of bubble wrap and put her in my hold luggage.

MDD Hana's here too. I took her in my hand luggage wrapped in Ciel's plastic bag.

A representative of my doll family's first visit to the town here I spent my teenage years.

I always thought it was quite a dull place to live but I now realise it's one of the best places ever for doll photography. Honestly the entire town is like it was built as a Harry Potter movie set.
