Characters you would like to see as Dollfie Dreams

Of course the Miku dolls are popular but vocaloid 0401 has been soaring in popularity lately. I think she has the best voicebank of all the vocaloids. That wig would be a total nightmare but Kasane Teto should be the next vocaloid release. I don't know how straightforward the licensing would be given Teto's unusual past.

 

I'd genuinely murder something for VOLKS to release a DD of any LoveLive character. I know aqours has a 1/6 release from azone, but the eyes look unsettling to me

I'm quite surprised they haven't! It seems like such a popular franchise.. Especially since they seem to have done characters from at least one other idol-related franchise (Idolm@ster). I'm not into it myself, but GOSH those character designs are cute, and the sculpts would surely be up my alley..

Plus the franchise is still really big in Japan, if it weren't for the fact that Aqours is graduating this summer I'd still be holding onto whatever fumes of hope left that a collab might be announced (though let's be honest, the anime ended back in like 2017 and if they hadn't collabed then, they probably won't collab now) ueueuuuuuuuuuu

Do you think there’s any chance we may get Apothecary Diaries dolls? The show seems to be really popular. I know I love it and would buy them in a heartbeat.

Reckon there's a pretty good chance if they're planning any collabs soon otherwise they're totally missing out. Would they bother making Jinshi I wonder? Volks doesn't seem keen on male dolls unless its SD.

Yeah, I was wondering that too. They might make them SD, since like you said, most of the time when they want to include a male doll they prefer making them resin like the Gosick dolls. I don’t have any resin, but might have to make an exception if they do that, but I really hope they make DDs of them! I might have to make a custom of Jinshi in his armor though, I doubt they’d do that version and I love it so much! 

Panty and Stocking.  Season 2 finally coming out has me re-watching season 1.  Haruko from FLCL would be cool, too.

i’m not super into anime, but what i do dream about that i think would be perfect official dollfie dreams are the princesses from mario! Like imagine a dollfie dream Peach and Rosalina!? There’s pretty much zero official nintendo dolls out there at all which i find so odd and such a missed potential! It feels realistic enough as well with both being japanese companies.

Uh, I mean, Arknights Suzuran, Vulpisfoglia, and "Suzupapa".

One is a cute but somewhat sickly kyuubi fox girl, her mom a scarred badass fox girl in a suit, and her dad a lovely violet-purple kyuubi bishounen who is also a priest (9 + 1 + 9 = 19).

Alternatively, animalised cute plushies would do.

 

Most characters I'd love to see a doll of are from irrelevant franchises or not really main characters lol. It'd be really cool to see a Sanrio collab since they're literally making merch with everyone and anyone rn and they've done dolls before like Pullip.

It's kind of crazy that we don't have a Dollfie Dream of Morgan from Fate/Grand Order yet when she's one of the most popular characters (and my wife).

I also would have loved to see an Ai Hoshino DD, but I feel like that's not going to happen now after the overall reception to the manga's finale 😔

Zero Two from Darling in the FranXX would be a cool DD. Plus she could have a DDS Ichigo to troll.

after the popularity of uma musume global lately I'd love to see a DD Daiwa Scarlet, but they'd probably do Haru Urara if anyone

Since they've already done NiER dolls, I'd break my rule of "no more dolls" for a Kaine. Hopefully her face would be more DD-ish instead of a kinda SD/DD hybrid? I like 2B as a character but her doll looks a bit off to me for some reason. (And a weiss prop would be cool too..)

It's Nana's 25th anniversary this year, and whilst we're approaching the end of the year, a late announcement would bring me to my knees 😭

I've been getting into the Sailor Moon franchise lately. The outer senshi have always been my favorite, and they seem like natural candidates for future DDs as the inner senshi have been made already. My predictions for which bodies they will use... :

Pluto (Setsuna): DD, Tan skin. The subtly different hue of DD tan perfectly matches how most adaptations depict Pluto's skin tone.

Uranus (Haruka): DD, Flesh skin. Nice and simple.

Neptune (Michiru): DD, Flesh skin. Part of me says DDS so that she has a height difference with Uranus for the Michiru x Haruka fans. On the other hand, she is supposed to be taller than the inner senshi, who are all DDS (notwithstanding Jupiter).

Saturn (Hotaru): DDS, Semi-white skin. A natural candidate for DDP, but they will probably promote her to DDS, like Frieren. A second possibility is MDD as she's a child for several parts of the story. Semi-white because she is supposed to be the palest among the cast.

Chibi Usa: MDD, Flesh skin. Chimikko suits her pre-Sailor form perfectly. However, as a Sailor her proportions become those of MDD, and the Sailor version is the most marketable one. (Like Arle, maybe they could re-release her sculpt as a Chimikko, if demand is high enough!)

Of the outer senshi, Saturn and Chibi Usa are by far the most popular and therefore the most profitable. Maybe they will release the pair and be done with Sailor Moon. Releasing them as a pair would even work with the characters because Saturn and Chibi Usa have a special connection.

I'm SHOCKED there is no official Dollfie for Chii from Chobits?! Or am I missing something? She would be perfect!

Edit: NVM, there was a Chobits doll released a long time ago, but a new one would be great!

Ahhhh, I see you and I will get along well!!! There seems to be a trend of releasing dolls in pairs, so I'm hoping we'll see both Nana and Hachi together 🤞
