Mystery DD from the September Collection

Sooooo I didn't see a thread on this so feel free to let me know if one has already been started!****

 

As you may or may not know, there is a super gorgeous DD in the September collection that has me weeping that my doll funds this year are fairly depleted.

 

So who do you think she looks like? Red eyes are fairly unique and since many of our girls come from less known series or Volks own original characters- she could be anyone! Please feel free to add more photos of girls who match the description- I think she looks the most like the last picture.... but who knows?

Okay, did some research. I know that look. It's Kanu's face, but not in her usual tan skin...

Or very similar. Saw her several times on Volks promo photos.

She's the next one-off, probably with some amazing outfits combination~ I'm kidding~!! :3

 

Her head mold looks like a repainted version of Kanu's, but there's no proof that that's the case. We can only speculate, unless you are a Volks, Inc. insider! If you are, please tell me. Who is this mystery Dollfie Dream®?

 

Her eyes look red, but not the default red, or even Tamaki's default eyes. It looks more like a rose-colour red, close to being burgundy, purple-ish red.

She's the next one-off, probably with some amazing outfits combination~ I'm kidding~!! :3

There is a theory on DOA that this Kanu is her.

How mean of them! But that looks like that is exactly the case. It's one-off Kanu. I love Kanu. Now I am going to be sad with anything they actually are releasing because one-off Kanu is so gorgeous. D'oh. Thank you, Mitsuki.

I was so hoping she wasn't a one-off. I would love to be able to get this beautiful girl.

Have they ever released a version of a one-off that was tremendously popular? Should I even harbor hope? She's so amazing. Kanu and Beatrice have a similar face to my eyes so ... I suppose Kanu is a dream girl for me and the red eyes just look amazing.

The mystery girl probably isn't Kanu. Both of their smiles look different (i.e. they both have different smiles). Or, maybe it's just me because the one-off Kanu that Mitsuki posted is facing away from the camera...

Of course Volks likes to tease us (well, SD fans anyhow!) with rare dolls done up non-default as Dolpa clothing models all the time, but if a doll is called a "one-of" I got the impression that it was made to be sold. If that is the case I can't see how they could be using that one-off Kanu as a model, unless they took these shots waaay in advance.

My wallet hopes they don't release her . . . I don't think I would be able to say no to her. She's awesome.

Sadly One-Off models are only available by entering a raffle in Dolls Party Events and I believe Volks sold her for ￥82,000 at Dolls Party 24 （＾＾；；　）

If it's not Kanu then I believe it is Yuuzuki Kiryuu from "Kiss x Sis". I know next to nothing about the show but I do know that she is the main characters homeroom teacher, an otaku with a thing for samurais and that her parents have disowned her for her otaku ways. She is an avid cosplayer and apparently shows up as Mahoro from Mahoromatic & Mai Shiranui.

Also, am I the only one who finds it kind of funny that the owner chooses only to be identified as "Tamaki"? I'm now picturing DD Tamaki dragging Kanu around on a leash.

 

It is kind of a shame that they're teasing us all with a doll that we can't have, though. I was kind of fantasizing that she'd be the mysteriously skipped Option Head 05. . . Though I suppose in my case it's probably good she isn't, because I can't help but think that she'd make great Jägermonster bait. That would be quite a time consuming and expensive project--especially since she'd just be begging to be Momma Gkika and would need that awesome gold and red dress with the skulls!

haha They did make her lighter skin. I am called a vampire in my family but I am still not as light as a white skin DD. My brother has a much darker complexion. When people see us together, they ask where we met.
