Hello, I am first time here today, I love dolls, collect bjd so far I got about 30 abjd resin dolls, and finally I am thinking about having DD. I am so impressed about their posing, and anime faces I am a bit afraid of vinyl since I love black clothes... I hope to learn a lot here...

Hello! Welcome to the forums! Many of us here started out with resin BJDs too.

There are ways to prevent staining and to remove stains if they do occur. I recommend reading this thread, if you haven't already seen it: http://www.dollfiedreams.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1887

It helped me a lot when I first started with DDs and had to remove a stain for the first time.

welcome, mmilena, from another newbie to the forum and another bjd owner (although mine are all anthros & pet dolls now these days, with the exception of my floating heads from IOS). I finally decided it was about time I stopped just admiring DDs (as I have for the past 5-6 years) and actually buy one so I now have my 1st on the way ^^. I'm not too afraid of staining myself, having experience with other vinyl toys & figures, but I'm not quite sure how DD vinyl will react to the cleaning methods I'm used to using so it will be a little bit of an experience, just like it was starting out in BJDs. Do you have a doll idea in mind for your 1st DD?
