I am very new to Dollfie Dreams, but was roped in by Hatsune Miku. My Miku is coming home soon, so I am trying to make sure I have everything I will need for her. I've collected ball-jointed dolls for years, but she will be my first DD, so I am both excited and nervous.

 

If I find that I really like DDs, I may try to customize one myself since they look like they are a lot of fun. The only thing that worries me is the staining potential.

 

Apart from doll stuff I also love veterinary medicine, foxes, dragons, and World of Warcraft, just to name a few other things! I look forward to learning a lot and participating in the forum.

Miku is the one that dragged me into this hobby too. I'm hoping mine may arrive home in February, but who knows.

 

I'm not sure where you live, but VolksUSA (for North American residents only) has Miku's optional parts currently up for preo-order, including the bodysuit. The bodysuit can help prevent staining. The pre-order period for it ends tomorrow.

Volks International already held their pre-order for the optional parts and I'm not sure if they'll open them again.

 

Stains are a part of this hobby, unfortunately, but there are ways to remove them. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend reading this thread on stain prevention and removal.

 

I hope you'll post plenty of Miku spam once yours arrives. ^_^

I feel for you if you haven't gotten your Miku yet. She is an absolute darling and I've already spent lots of time enjoying her with my friend and doing a big long photo shoot. Will have to do another when I get more clothes in .
