Bigger feet for an obitsu body

I'm planning on building a new doll soon and using the 55 cm boy Obitsu body. However the feet feels REALLY small in my eyes and I would love to get a bigger pair. I was eyeing the feet for the 60cm dolls, but they seems to be about the same size. /:

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the 55cm and the 60cm bodies feet size? Parabox's site does not list the size....

 

And if they are the same size does anyone think it would be possible to mod something? x _ x;

According to Parabox the 55 has the biggest feet of what they sell already.

I don't know if maybe the 65cm guy has bigger feet, but that would be harder to get.

The 60cm and 55cm bodies share most internal skeleton parts so most of the external vinyls can be swapped between the two, feet being no exception. The three styles of 55/60cm feet vary in length from 6.1cm to 6.2cm. The two 65cm bodies (male and female) both have larger feet, 6.7cm and 6.3cm respectively. The 65cm bodies have a much different ankle joint than the 55/60cm bodies. I have yet to disassemble any 65cm feet (If it ain't broke, don't mess with it), but the 65cm ankle appears to be very similar to that of the 50cm, but without the screw on the bottom of either of the feet, thus making them vastly different than the 55/60cm's "half-ball" ankle. Replacing your 55/60cm's feet with 65cm feet would no doubt require some modding.

At this time individual replacement parts for the 65cm bodies have yet to go on sale.

There have been numerous comments and complaints over the years regarding Obitsu's 55/60cm feet. The easiest solution to most issues regarding 55/60cm feet, whether it be size or aesthetics, can be solved by putting them in an attractive pair of shoes.

It's nice to know that it's possible to make this small upgrade I want to make. The problem is that the character I have in mind have some pretty big feet. So even if I am to put on bigger shoes and stuff them so they still fit the foot, it will look strange if I just pose him with socks imo.

A friend of mine mentioned that he knew someone who had modded a pair of DDS feet to a 50cm body, so maybe that's an option as well?

I guess I have some reading to do, but hopefully I can make this mod happen!

 

And Jezrah, with hard to find do you mean the feet or the body in general?

I meant just the feet since replacement parts aren't readily available.

Replacement vinyls for the Obitsu 65cm bodies are not sold at all. If you need parts for your 65cm body you will nave to buy an entire body or find someone selling used parts.
