Would this fit? (+What does this mean?)

Hiya!

So I was looking around for a new doll and came across Dollfie World, eventually finding a Volks 27cm body type F in Nature Skin. My "What does this mean" question is it also says EB in the title, and I'm not entirely sure what it means. Anywho, my main reason for making this post is the next evening, I came across an Obitsu head that was the same size(I was looking for a head because the site didn't have any I liked with eyeholes in that size).

Would it work with the body, or should I keep searching? I asked on another site and they said I might have to do a bit of modding on the neck, but I wanna make sure this is right before I take a plunge into it. I'd look at the measurements, but for some odd reason both links did not mention them?

Thank you for your time!

EB is the name of the body type, kind of like how the 60cm ones are Dollfie Dreams.

Does the Obitsu have eyeholes or not? If it doesn't have the eyeholes then it would definitely fit on the Volks body; you can just pop it on. I've never had one of the 1/6th scale Obitsu eyehole heads, so I'm not sure how they attach.

EB means "Excellent Base." The EB line is Volks 27cm line of dolls.

EB was the standard 27cm body. They had visible screw holes in the back, and two joints on their torso (bust and hips).

EB Beauty was designed with an aesthetic focus in mind, and had a smooth back (no visible screws) and a single joint at the bust.

Neo-EB was designed with poseability in mind, and had a ton of joints. They weren't very pretty nude, but they were very flexible.

If you're going for a 27cm doll, it would probably be best to just buy an Obitsu body and an Obitsu head. The EB line of bodies, especially the EB Beauty line, are pretty floppy and do not stand well at all. They're less poseable than the Obitsu bodies, their hands pop off very easily, and they don't have the alternate hands that Obitsus do.

Also, in case it's not clear, 27cm is essentially Barbie-sized. The 27cm-sized dolls are wholly unrelated to Dollfie Dreams and are not at all similar in scale.

Ah, that makes sense! I understand their not the same size at all, however I didn't know they were floppy... The Obitsu head I was looking at does have eyeholes and I couldn't find a female Obitsu body until recently because I kept spelling Obitsu wrong.

I found one on Amazon, so I think I'll try to order it since it has a positive review when I get the chance and see how it goes.

Thank you for the information!
