DISNEYLAND WAS A SUCCESS!!!

Well, We finally took Amora out into public at Disneyland for "Bats Day", and it was great!!

 

We had two friends with us who were excited to go inside the park all dressed in Goth and we had Amora dressed up for the event. I admit, after our experience at the Huntington Library last time, I was nervous about how the park staff would treat us. But they let us through security with no trouble, they just checked our bags and let us through. And once we were inside the park, we brought her out and let the world see her.... and it was Awesome .

 

There were people who knew what she was and others who wanted to know more about her, and her cyberpunk outfit really was a big hit with everyone around us, We were given so much respect from both cast members and guest alike. All the Goths really enjoyed her and had a lot of respect for us bringing her out to play. We were able to take some pics of her, but just something simple and it was enough for us.

 

Our friend held on to her most of the day on her shoulder, she loved her SO much... people thought that Amora belonged to her, so we just went along with it.... lolol.

 

We let others hold and look her over because they never saw these type of dolls before, and we used our phone to go online to show what other types of dolls are out there. They were just so curious and enjoying her so much, especially her clothing. It was a great day and night.

 

The only down side was there was this stupid ass 13 year old boy who was trying to touch her, thinking it was funny. I shooed him away and told him to leave, while he was giving me this dumbass smirk as he left..... Thiw was the only bad thing that happened the whole day, but besides that the day was great.

 

I plan to post pics of Amora when I learn how and where to post them.

 

I'll say this, if someone ever wanted to do a gathering inside Disneyland, it would be a great idea...

Smirks happen no matter what, but WOW, sounds great!! So glad you had an awesome time.

I'm so happy to hear that everything went so well for you! I figured that you'd have no problems at Disney since they're pretty easy going when it comes to meet ups and gatherings. It's really great that you guys enjoyed yourselves and that so many people enjoyed seeing your girl and were curious about her! I've had this happen quite often locally.... people are more curious than anything so being nice and answering questions usually gets a smile and thanks from them.

 

As for the stupid kid, he's just that.... a stupid kid. Do NOT let anyone discourage you from having fun and doing what you enjoy. It's their fault if they can't see why you like what you like. And it's not like you'll ever see that kid again anyways.
