Damaged legs

Recommended Posts

Hi! I think I might have damaged my Miku's leg, I found this in the morning, I don't know whether is it because of her shoe, can anyone help me?

Vinyl DDs don't chip in the same way that resin dolls might. You'd have to cut the vinyl with a bladed edge in order to shave off a piece, and that's something a typical pair of doll shoes won't do. Did the shoes have sharp metal parts on them, maybe?

She looks pretty OK in the picture, but it might be that you can see something in person that is hard to see in a photo. Is it the little tab-like light color at the end of her shin piece that you're referring to?

You could just sand it if it really bugs you, but personally I'd just put socks on and not worry about it. But then I don't like any joints exposed, anyway.

I think that the ends of the vinyl pieces look like they are trimmed by hand anyway, and probably have variations and uneven areas. None of mine bother me.
