Maybe the reason is bust size? All other Miku outfits included M-bust but Siren set is strictly SS-S.

E.g. Volks producted approximately the same amount as previously but potential customers don't have that many SS-S girls.

That's quite possible actually. I'm also not sure that the song this outfit originates from is quite as popular as some of the others are.

Personally I'm not into ball gown style dresses (I'm not a fan of the colors eiher), maybe I'm not the only one?

I think it's an issue of different tastes, for some people? Volks would have to pay me money to even make me consider owning that dress... I pretty much hate everything about it.

I was on the fence with this outfit.. I really like it from the back, but the front is so boring. Also I don't like to see the joints of my dollfie (shoulder part)

So I thought really long about it, and decided against it. Imo the outfit is a bit boring when you think about it, and since volks-stuff isn't cheap at all I said to myself..no. XD

Yeah, those things are possible. I like it a lot, but then again I don't have the best tastes. I figured there would be a lot of people getting it because it's Miku related as well.

I don't really think there's "worst tastes" and "best tastes," just "your taste" and "my taste" and no one should ever be ashamed of what they like (so long as it's not, like, illegal).

 

Actually, there's a ton stuff that I'd personally never want to own, but I really enjoy seeing other people have in their collections. Loli is a good example -- I, presonally, don't do lolita styles but I'll happy spend hours looking at photos of cute loli dolls.

I'm contemplating whether to get the happy knit dress set, do you possibly know if you can squeeze a L bust girl into it? I know the website says its for S and M only, but since I only have L bust girls I want to find out for sure..

the outer part might since it may be stretchy, but I wouldn't count on it having enough give. The under part absolutely wouldn't, so unfortunately I doubt it would. The jump from M to L bust is pretty huge. (Pun not intended.)

 

Also I never noticed the white socks but now that I do I'm tempted.

Omg I foudn the Milky White Knit in stock a few hours ago! I snatched it immediately, together with a Happy Knit and paid for them! >U< I'm so happy!

Hey thanks for sharing this information you have been most helpful:) I didn't think the white one piece skirt would fit a L bust, oh well at least now I know for sure, that's such a shame since the warm tartan jacket in the feb collection looks really good with the happy knit set! Maybe it's time to grow my DD army and source some M bust girls hey, it's always nice to have an excuse to welcome new girls home:)

Yep! I snagged a pair!

The siren set came in today! The gold color looks much better in person imo. It doesn't look as greenish as it did in photos. I'll have it more or less on miku later once I try and determine how safe it is. I really need to get some test parts...

Mine came a couple days ago and I finally just put it on. First of all, it's pretty! The photos make it look like a strong yellow fabric but it's more of a smooth stain gold. Secondly, I'm not sure what bust size works best (･･') It seemed 'wrong' with both SS and S busts, but I went with SS. I'm not sure why but the product photos make it look like it's hugging her body better. (Actually I think I just found out why, I need to raise the innermost skirt thing higher on her waist).

 

I also found it much easier to detach the whole upper torso to put on the bottom parts of the dress After that it was really easy to put on.

 

 

Oh ya, it's also HUGE.

 

The yellow part is safe, at least from the inside (her hand touching it might be another issue). But I'm not going to trust the gloves, even if I washed them. I'm testing them and so far they seem safe actually, but I won't use Miku's hands with the painted nails in them, probably just some normal skin hands

Rin's school set just arrived today. Calypso did some modeling while I'm waiting for Rin to arrive.

My star piece memories S - M bust arrived today. It came with a set of falsies for use with Makoto and Chihaya. XD
