Snow Miku project 2016 + preorder Fluffy coat outfit

Depends on where you got it from. By ordering it from Volks USA, they're about 2 months behind Volks Japan shipping things because the outfits didn't get on the boat to come to the USA until they started shipping from Japan.

It IS a pre-order for just the dress, right?

Just saw this, for some reason they're releasing a figma of the 2012 design and it looks like the final Snow Miku outfit Volks released,

My Miku is wearing her outfit and sure does look warm. She likes it, so I'm happy.

The lack of the top puff looks even more awkward on the figma than the doll. Ew. I guess we know now why they changed it so much; still, why???

 

I guess I should put my Miku back into the Fluffy coat, since it is officially cold now, but I really like the outfit she's wearing now. Though it does remind me that that's the only winter outfit I have for any of my dolls. o.<

Word of warning about the outfit: I just put my Miku back on her coat and when I tried to put the ear pieces on, one of them somehow got turned inside out and will NOT go back the other way. Its hard to explain, as it should just reverse back but it simply will not. Also, some of the stitches have come undone and it looks super flat when compared to the other piece and honestly, like a wadded up piece of cloth, so I just gave it up and put it back in the bag. I know a lot of people, myself included, were having issues getting them on the headphones, but they shouldn't be falling apart after two uses. Figured I'd point out what happened. I'll be making my own when I get the chance.

Don't know about the earmuffs as I don't have a Snow Miku headset to put them on, but I had the mittens on Miku's hands and they didn't stain. But I had washed them in the washing machine 2 or 3 times before she wore them. I had a body suit on her as I didn't want to risk staining her body. I think the 'belt' was too long as it didn't sit on her skirt, but hung way below it and looked funny. Otherwise she enjoyed it as it was nice and warm.

Thats good to hear about the mittens. Thanks for reminding me to wash them a few times!
