The weight of a DDS Head+Body

Hey everyone! So I have just bought my first DD on buyee.jp which is a YJA proxy. It's an Akira 2nd version, and second hand. She comes with the head, default eyes, body, box, and the volks booklet, all for 38,500 yen. Plus buyee service fee and payment fee the total is 41,125 yen.

 

If you didn't know, at buyee the payment is done two times, first the price product and service fee, and then once the product arrives at buyee warehouse, you pay for shipment.

 

My doll arrived at the warehouse yesterday where they weighed her and she was 220g!

 

I'm new to this hobby so I don't know, but it is said in the volks website that a standard model is 1,125 Kg. Without the wig and outfit, surely Akira would just a few grams less. But 220g is far too bizarre. And according to buyee inspection of the product, it is similar to the product description.

 

Do you think the seller sent the doll alone without her box? In that case, can someone give me the weight of the doll without and possibly with the box?

 

Also : Yesterday I added the package protection service, it has been completed. Now my package is 3+ kg.

My DDS Mio Honda in her box and outer box are 1980g.

Mio Honda with clothes and wig on are 810g.

 

That is assuming my scale is correct!

My doll arrived yesterday safely wrapped in a ton of bubble wrap! She's my first DD and she feels huge in my hands compared to my other dolls. She is so pretty I love her already~

 

I decided to call her Hadaly. I can't wait to get her a wig and start taking pictures

Congratulations! Akira is so cute! She's one of my favorites.
