Volks wrapping blanket?

I suppose maybe I should have posted here before buying it, but I wound up buying one of the wrapping blankets from Volks since it seemed like a good idea.

 

Have any of you used the Volks wrapping blanket before? I was half-tempted by the black cat one, but settled for the white since I wanted to see how well it worked out. I usually pack my dolls with a facemask, but is it really necessary with the wrapping blanket still?

I use it when I travel by plane, I bring this into the cabin...

the reason I use this as easy to open if the airport custom officers want to see

 

I still use a Volks carrier for traveling

for longer trip (walk), i used my backpack...

and this Voks blanket fit nicely in my backpack

Thank you for sharing so many pictures of the blanket! I was tempted by the black cat one, but for now I have just the white one. Do you use a face mask at all when you use it?

I wanted to get the black cat one but looks like they are sold out, so I'll be buying the white one. Thanks for sharing pictures!

I usually put a very large ziploc bag over the head and upper body when they're in the blanket, that way the wig doesn't become a mess.

This sounds random but what backpack are you using? I've been looking for a good travel backpack that I can also carry around my doll in, especially because I'll be traveling soon.

 

EDIT: Nevermind, found out that that's a National Geographic backpack! I just bought a different one from them for myself ^^
