Price Check! Rei Ayanami Classmate/Transfer Student Ver.

Hi everyone! I don't know if this is quite the right place to post this or not, but I'm thinking about selling my near full set Rei Ayanami Transfer Student Ver. girl. I "accidentally" bought her recently, and due to some unforeseen cirbleepstances may have to end up selling her. I don't really know what she's worth as I haven't seen her for sale anywhere previously.

 

She is in very good condition, most of her full default included. I have no idea what kind of price I would begin to ask for her or how rare she really is. I'm probably not going to sell her though if I can't get a fair amount, so I'd like to have some ideas before I take the time trying.

Her selling price will depend on a few factors, those being:

 

1) Does she have her original box/paperwork/etc?

 

2) Is she complete? If not, what is she missing?

 

3) Is she on the DD1 body that is strung? Or is she on a different body?

 

Those things will all have an effect on her aftermarket price. The good news is that this version of Rei is much harder to find than the normal swimsuit version. It's really hard to find these versions of Rei and even harder to find the clothing separately. ( I have personally been looking for YEARS for this outfit and I still want one badly! )

 

But your main factor is whether she is on her original DD1 body or not. If she's on that body then you can only get about $350-$450 for her in complete shape. That body is a pain in the butt and not popular at all. Now if she's on another body like a DD2 or DD3/DDS then you can get more for her.... probably add another $150-$200.

 

The box and paperwork do have a small effect on value but nothing huge. If you have all those, you can add about $50 for them depending on the buyer. Most North American buyers aren't as keen to needing the boxes but most buyers overseas do tend to want them for a complete setup.

Thanks for the Info! To be honest I'm not a big fan of splitting, Mostly because I like to keep all of my stuff as complete as possible, but if I decide to sell her outfit or split her up you will be the first to know.
