my first ever dollfie dream's character

first is it ok to post about characters purely of your imagination? if so then lemme dive in:

my character's name is kokoro, i actually made that character way before i got into DDs and she didn't have a name(not a good one at least) she's this very contrasting girl, shy, but kinda obnoxiously loud, emotional and kinda weak, but still seems to be emotionless when needed if it makes others around her feel safer, she cries like about everything, frustrated? cry. happy? cry, etc. she's basically this all-heart-no-brain person yet she is super smart, she just can't use her brain to benefit herself. she's literally an anime girl version of me, she's my age, basically me. at first i drew an anime girl. baggy sweater, messy hair, big eyes, a sad look on her face, and named her joy(hence my name is joey, cheesy.) but i didn't feel the name actually fit her, as cheerful and optimistic she acted, she wasn't very joyful. so when it came to making her into a doll, to me an 'anime doll' is a BJD, didn't know there were actual anime dolls. but then i laid my eyes on the adorable Mariko, i loved her, she was my concept come to life, then i saw her painfully high price, i died a little inside so i was like, I'm gonna buy a standard version DD then heavily mod her, i wasn't new to modding dolls for friends and myself. and skip to when i got my mirai, i though joy was a horrible name for her, so since she's a japanese doll, and drawn in japanese animation style, i could name her something in japanese, i opened google translations and went to town, i literally spent hours(alarmingly so, since i should be outside, in the sun, playing, or something.) and i remembered how every time i mentioned her i called her an all-heart person, so i was like BINGO!(was his name-o) and translated heart into kokoro and all was past and good.

 

 

and my apologies, cause this post is like literally asking to be removed by the mods for how long it is

 

you can say your stories or if you ever based the character of a doll based on a real life person, in your real life.

I think its definitly okaj to talk about your own character concepts

 

Omgosh i love your character xD if she's based on you she must be awesome

(and yes Mariko is sooooo cute but that price.. sheesh XD i almost immediatly scratched her of my wishlist because of it) Im curious to see how your modding gets along please share!!!

(also.. i know its probably not the place but i'd love to see your anime drawing of her )
