Alright everyone, we're almost there!

 

Becca and I will be in town around 12-2 depending on traffic. We are staying at the con hotel along with K-2, Ed and D'Ann. I'm not sure if anyone else is staying there or not so let us know if you are.

 

The plan as of now is this:

 

Arrivals and lunch sometime on Friday between noon and 3pm.

Get together with whoever is around and plan some times for the panels on Saturday morning.

Said panels are tentatively planned to start between 9 and 10am on Saturday and going til lunch.

Lunch break whenever the group deems it needed.

Finish up panels and decide where to go for photo ops.

Possible supper with group.

Sunday morning possible breakfast.

Possible photo ops again.

 

Of course this is all subject to change depending on what everyone wants to do. We'll get it figured out hopefully on Friday and go from there.

 

I'd like if we can get a final roll call for who will be there and when so we know how many people to plan for. Please post here in the thread to let us know and keep updating with any pertinent info. I'll update here as well with anything I get or hear.

Razzy and I will be there Sat-Sun we're also staying at the hotel. I had planned for some other friends to meet us there but they had to cancel. Hopefully the panels will start later Sat morning since it'll take us around an hour (depending on traffic/other delays) to arrive.

I'll be there, I'll attempt to make it around 9am

(I'm away from the southeast this year so I won't be there this time, just to give confirmation. However I do plan to be within driving distance of Atlanta this time next year (2017), in case it goes well enough to hold again.)

Just noticed the date. Hope you all have a blast this weekend.

What a weekend!

The Atlanta Anti-con Meet is over and it was a smashing success! Many thanks to all who participated, especially to Ballylox, asianed, and Goodgolly who despite technical difficulties, small attendance, and unruly vinyls, ran their panels. They were excellent! And a very special thanks to Billy, who really worked to make this happen!

 

Speaking of which, where are all the pictures? It can't just be mine up here.

Heh, I put all my photos up on Flickr last night and hope to put them here either tomorrow night or sometime Friday so don't worry.
