You can definitely use SD outfits for DD's but not ALL of them will fit properly. Especially the DDdy bodies, due to the hips and chests being bigger than usual.

Most often, you can get clothing for SD's to fit as long as they are listed for 60cm girls. I have found that even a good portion of these clothes will fit the DDdy but they'll be tight.

May I ask where you're planning on buying shoes/clothing from? Maybe if you can post a link to the stuff in question, we can help you out a little better. I buy clothes from all over the internet and so does Mitsuki. Between the two of us, Galvatim and Ms. Geek, we should be able to tell you yes or no on what you're wanting.

Shoe sizes for SD's can be tricky. I have some that are a wee bti big on my DD's feet. If I lace them tight, they won't fall off but the slip on shoes I have *will* slide off the DD feet pretty easily. Again, shoot us some links and we'll see what's up.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

Okie dokie! Here's a few links (they have a pair of shoes in this lot as well and a pair of jeans and/or shorts I'm interested in) - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140507484300&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT this one too http://cgi.ebay.com/BIG-LOT-LUTS-SHOES-Elf-Super-Dollfie-DOLL-WIGS-JEWELRY-/140507482903?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20b6e60b17 and last but not least, this one http://cgi.ebay.com/LOT-4-BJD-ELF-DOLL-SUPER-DOLLFIE-OUTFITS-SHOES-JEWELRY-/140507863950?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20b6ebdb8e. I like all three pairs of shoes in the second link and everything in the last one lol.

In general, a lot of SD clothes fit DD even if they are a little loose. SD pants from Volks can be a little loose on DD, but I have also gotten pants that are quite tight for DD but still fit. The same thing with skirts. The DD waist is pretty small, but you can position the skirt lower on the hips to get a better fit.

As for shoes, the DD foot is about 7cm. Delf girl shoes are about that size. LeekeWorld shoes list the length in centimeters to help in choosing a size that would work for DD feet. If a seller lists the size, look for something with an inside size of around 6.7 - 7cm. The outer length can be 7 - 8 cm. 9 cm for an other length is quite big for a DD. Boots are even easier because they lace up and can be secured even if they are bit big.

I think the clothes and shoes in the link should fit a DD and maybe a DDdy. They look nice enough to take a chance on them.

Ahh, looks like I have to snipe you on those! BWAAHHAAAAA!

Just kidding!

I have to agree with Mitsuki. The things you pointed out do look like they may work. I can't be sure on some of the clothing but the stuff in those links sure looks cool. If I were you and had the money, I'd give them a shot.

Here's to hoping you can win them! Let us know how it turns out.

Hope it's ok that I'm bumping this instead of starting a new thread.

When it comes to SD shoes, I notice that they're generally listed more specifically as SD13 or SD16. Which is closer to our DDs?

DD Beatrice - DD Saber/EXTRA

The DD foot is about 7 cm. I have seen quotes of the SD10 being 7 cm and the SD13 being 7.8 cm. I assume the SD16 foot is even longer. In general the DD foot is kind of small. If the shoe is closed or lace-up or a tall boot, DD can wear shoes that are a bit big and look just fine. If they are sandals or something open like that, they can be quite loose if they are too big.

I hope it is OK if I revive this old thread rather than make a probably redundant question ... I think I already know the answer here but would this outfit fit a DD well, especially someone like Miku with an SS chest?

It's so pretty but I'm assuming Miku will be too small in the chest and waist and it'll look weird.

The answer is pretty obvious: It won't fit. SS is really flat. That outfit wouldn't even fit regular S.

Simple solution: change her bust size. For now Volks USA is out of stock of the semi white M bust but they should restock eventually or try the international site or even secondhand options. All DD3's have the same measurements except when it comes to different busts of course.

I'm about ready to, it's going to be impossible to find her clothes. And honestly I'm not sure why they went with SS bust, at least S would have looked fine. Can M bust stuff fit S or does it usually look dumb? I also don't want her default outfit to stop fitting, haha. I'd think S bust would still fit under it but I dunno about M. I guess I can experiment when Saber's body gets here.

Another question . . . Does Volks ever restock "out of stock" stuff? I've seen "going to be restocked" notifications but if you don't see that one, is it gone forever? I ask because I found an outfit that I like even better!: http://volksusastore.com/webstores/dollfie/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=2982

I'm so glad the gothic lolita type stuff is popular in Japan. If there was any chance of Japanese clothing fitting on me I'd probably wear it too.

Edit: Oh duh I just noticed the sizing stuff at the top of each description. The bustier one doesn't even list DDs so I'm guessing it doesn't fit any of them. :\ Oh well.

Can't comment on the Miku outfit on S bust, but I've heard it's pretty snug. As for what fits on S/SS it really depends on the outfit, if it's an outfit that is has a bustier/etc chances are it won't fit well. Sometimes you can't trust Volks on sizing either, I've got outfits that list S as fitting, but it really doesn't fit well as it's too baggy.

No, they don't. Only items they will restock are Tenshi-no-Koromo Standard items, and there's only a handful of those. Your only bet is to find it used from Japan really.

It does. Generally stuff that lists SD/SD13 will fit DD M. I own a lot of La Parsonal label stuff that doesn't list DDs and it fits well enough.

Noooo. What's the best way to do that? YJA? Right now I'm scouring Mandarake, I guess it could pop up on there too but they don't seem to have as much doll stuff.

From what I hear from a friend, Miku's outfit should fit S bust but will be too tight on anything bigger than that.

I've actually got that outfit for sale: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=11173

Pretty sure it's just sitting untouched in my box of "stuff to sell."

That is kind of what I thought. Someone should invent "push up bras" for DDs so smaller busts can wear outfits for bigger busts! XD That is an idea though, maybe wearing a bra underneath would pad it enough to let her wear M bust stuff, I mean as long as I get her an S bust.
