archangeli Posted November 7, 2011 I got my first MDD body a couple months second hand from a seller on DoA. It was a great transaction and she came with a blank 01 head that I asked my sister to give a face-up for me. I knew it might take her a while to finish it since she has work, and we also went on vacation to Tokyo so I was pleasantly surprised when she gave me the finished head yesterday! It looks so cute! She did a lot more detail work than I expected with the eyeliner and eyelashes, and there are little touches of gloss on her eyes and lips to give her a more lively appearance. I think she did a wonderful job! I tried on several wig styles and this blonde one was the the one that I ended up liking the best. My longer wigs just looked overwhelming on the little MDD body - either too long or too poofy or just not "right"... So, here's little Médée (pronounced "meh-DAY") - I bought her a few pairs of option hands on my trip, but now I want to start getting cute little MDD outfits for her too! OMG this hobby is going to be the death of my bank account >___<" Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli

Poofiemus Posted November 7, 2011 Oh, congratulations! She's adorable. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of her (with or without sisters around) in the future! As for this hobby being wallet death. . . well, yes, yes it is. At least it's not a lonely wallet death, what with the DD adoptions and fellow hobby members also watching their own wallets starve to death. XD In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser. XD Yes, we can all starve and suffer together while we wait for the postman to deliver our packages! LOL Thanks - I'll try to get more pics of her out and about. The fact that she's so small makes her really portable. Let's not talk about bank accounts, please... Médée looks so adorable. I can imagine that it is difficult to resist something so cute. And by the way, that cat is also something. Thank you ♥! The kitty is a resin BJD kitty from Hujoo. He's not ususally so grouchy looking - it's just the angle I took the photo from LOL Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli

I do love the touches of gloss she put on lips and eyes And I don't blame you for wanting to buy her many cute MDD outfits, just adorable Congrats! Thanks! My sister got her first resin dolls as MSD kits from Volks so she taught herself how to do face-ups. Since she had all the materials I gave her Makoto and Médée's heads to practice with. I have all these ideas of dressing Médée up as a little Christmas elf or something! LOL She is so adorable!!! Thanks mitsuki! Awe, she looks so cute. Love her new face! Thank you! ^__^" I took a few pics of her when she arrived home but she looked kinda freaky as a blank head LOL I'm glad she has a face now! She's very cute. Your sister does nice work. Cute little denim jumper on her too, like the MDD version of the one they just released for the Dy not too long ago. Thanks. It's actually the same design denim jumper (white lacy underskirt, buttons and everything!) - except the MDD one came first! LOL It was a DP22 release called the "Bouncy in a Down Jacket" set. Pupi Posted November 8, 2011 She is too cute... Lately a lot of MDD customs have been appearing... All so cute <3 I really like her detailed eyelashes, she looks so precious wit that detailed face-up! Can I suggest you to try to change her eyes? These looks good on her, but I don't think them are "her" eyes, it's difficult to explain >.< Just my opinion :D enthusiast pasta girl - she/her - power bi Mini Mode Lab

archangeli Posted November 9, 2011 I have this cat thing that I can't resist them: real ones or not. You and me both! LOL Oh my gosh they're so cute ! Your sister did superb work, those little lashes are so fine O.O . Your girls are so lucky not only are they beautiful but they even have a pet hujoo cat XD ! Thank you! Yes, the girls are very spoiled - but as soon as I saw pics of the Hujoo kitty I knew I had to adopt one! omg shes so cute! and i LOVE her name! Thanks! The name came about rather funny - for ages I was chatting to a twitter friend about my new "MDD" because she hadn't arrived yet and I hadn't named her yet. We just kept referring to her as "MDD" so I finally got her in my hands, the name seemed to fit so well! Médée is the French form of the name Medea, a Princess from the myth of Jason and the Argonauts. I'm familiar with the French form because Charpentier wrote an opera called Médée that I saw a few years ago.
