I was thinking that, I would either have to try tucking the hair behind her ear, without somehow revealing the cap underneath or simply buying a short wig, like you've said. Thanks to you both again, I love seeing normal photos.

I have a love hate with Volks right now. I just bought an Asuna back in April, and can't wait to see her in person, and now they're tempting me with Emilia??? My wallet wants to run and hide from me. And my craft room is bursting at the seams with my stuff.

Getting my doll in a few days. I assume anyone who got theirs from Japan will get theirs soon too. Not sure about Volks USA.

I think Volks USA said Asuna would ship in August. Probably on the 31st. I hope it's sooner, I'm looking forward to getting mine.

Kirito arrived today from volks intl. I'm in the process of moving and can't open him yet.

Now that the International orders are rolling in, I have a request: Would someone mind doing some fitment tests on Kirito? Not just clothes, but also eyes? Since mine's getting customized, it would be a huge help to know what size blanks to get. Thanks!

I'm thinking of selling my Asuna's outfit (everything except for her wig and elf ears), what would you people say is a fair price ( is there a guideline for this sort of things? ) I have never sold anything doll related before as you probably can tell.. hope to get some opinions from you guy, thanks

Hey there! I happened to sell my asunas set without the ears. In my case I sold the wig as well. Because I felt the set was rather simple, It went for 200.00. Based on my expirience, 150.00?

I received Kirito yesterday! He is very handsome. Although he does still remind me a bit of Sinon.

 

But his outfit... O.O Completely black!! Not lined except his coat which is lined in black -.-'

The inside of his wig is completely black as well. I'm honestly not quite sure if I even want to take the risk of putting him in his default clothing even though I am washing all the items.

 

If I have some free time and daylight I will take a couple of pictures ^^

Wow that's...wow. Sucks for anyone who actually wanted him as Kirito I guess. Although it's all long sleeve and long pants, so it hopefully isn't hard to put on a body stocking or white leggings/top to protect him.

I wish I could say I was surprised, but I sort of expected this from the start. I'm just a bit surprised about the wig cap too! Admittedly, I was waiting to stalk the aftermarket for black stained Kirito bodies tbh. Just a matter of time now. If people actually want to use his outfit at all now.

While mine isn't going to stay Kirito, I was kind of hoping to use his outfit on occasion. (What can I say, that coat is epic.) Might be time for me to finally get a body stocking. .

Sorry to detract from the Kirito discussion, but since Dolpa is coming up hot I was looking at EMT again.

 

I tried painting over one of the official pictures with a faceup thats a little more similar to the one in the anime. Personally, I also think her eyes are a little bit on the big side, I would probably downsize them a little too.

 

 

Lookin' at it now, I'm think she looks like a cross between Mio Akiyama (which others have mentioned) and also Kirika. But that's just my opinion.

That hypothetical faceup is great! And yeah, I agree, they should have gone a size down for her eyes, definitely.

Speaking of Emilia, just got an email for her USA lottery.

Wow, only a two month turnaround from lottery to delivery from Volks USA. I can't remember the last time that happened.

I'm honestly kinda interested in Emilia.... Hmm. I don't care at all about the character, but I think the mold has potential.

 

Something to think over. That fix up you did Subaru really doesn't help me though! (She looks so much cuter)
