Mamimi gets new pennies!

A few weeks back I started a thread asking if anyone could help Mamimi further her coin collection:

As it turns out, a few people wanted to help her out and now the first of them has sent her a nice little package! Daisy-chan in Kansas City was kind enuff to send along 2 rolled pennies for Mamami so I made sure to take photos of Mamimi opening up her mail and showing what she received!

 

I find Mamimi in the kitchen on the computer.

I'm glad Mamimi enjoys her new coins and I'm very relieved that they got to you safe and sound!

And sorry about all the tape. I didn't want the pennies just loose in the envelope, they might had poked a hole in it and fallen right out.

 

Also, that little doll sized magnifying glass and lamp are so cute, and perfect for penny examining!

Mamimi is very thorough! Very nice additions to her collection. I am still intrigued by these, didn't even know they were a thing before you posted about them.

Oh wow! I wasn't expecting to see KC pennies on the forum. I'm actually from the Kansas side of things, but I remember those specific penny patterns from when I visited Union Station as a kiddo. Small world, eh?

Oh wow, it really is a small world! I definitely wasn't expecting anyone on the forum to live even remotely close by!

She certainly did enjoy them! Don't worry about the tape, that was a good idea! Having them loose might have caused issues like you said. The magnifying glass is from a set I got at target, it came with a library set that had other cute things too.

Yes she is! She likes studying and making lists so coin collecting suits her well. We like them a lot too, there's so many different ones out there, there's no way to know how many there are or what's on them so it makes it exciting to see what you can find.
