I’m going to apologize in advance for not having any photos to share. I’m not very good at drawing, and have no photo-editing software on my laptop. I also don’t have characters, per se, for the vinyl dolls I have planned, but rather an idea of their style and personality.

The first of my three girls I have planned is a Dollfie Dream DDH-07, preferably in semi-white. I plan to get her the L-Bust and the shapely bust, to change out as need be. I’ll be getting her the FMDM-1096 wig in the Light Lavender from For My Doll, because I love purple. So of course, given my druthers, I would absolutely get a purple wig for one of my dolls. From the site pictures, it looks like the wig has a really nice fade/ombre going on, but even if that’s not the case, it’s really cute. I don’t have any eyes picked out for her just yet, but I do know I want yellow/gold eyes.

I was torn between pastel yellow or a bright gold. Given the lighter skin tone and pale lavender of the wig, I could go with either and be happy. The pastel eyes would match with her overall pallor, but the bright gold would be a really fun contrast and add a focal point. I finally decided on the bright gold, as I feel that it might be in line for the personality I’m feeling for her.

Given the short hair and the shape of the DDH-07, she strikes me as an active, sporty type. I saw a limited military outfit on the Dollfie Dream site that I loved, but it was already sold out. That’s okay; it gave me an excellent jumping off point and several ideas on where to go with her character/personality. An active, sporty military girl suits me just fine! And the bright gold of her eyes will match with the gold of military lapels, epaulettes, and medals.

The other girl I have planned is an Obitsu Gretel on a Dollfie Dream DDIII body, with the small bust. I already have the head, it having been my very first doll. The head needs some work, but still looks very good for being ten years old. I also have a pair of the pixie ears for the Gretel head.

Her eyes are the ones she came with, which are the Parabox realistic eyes in green-grey. I also already have her wig. My girlfriend had bought the FMDM-1095 in Sweet Carrot from For My Doll, but it ended up not fitting. She allowed me to have it for the Gretel head, and she looks so cute together - blank and all. I want to give her a scattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks when I give her a face-up. I think it’ll look adorable.

I’m wanting to get her elegant, but frilly clothing - something a little princess or fairy-like elf might wear. Lots of pastels, and voluminous, sheer cloth. Her personality strikes me as one that is naive and friendly, and I’m debating on making her character an actual elfin princess. I’m really excited about getting her body and completing her.

The third girl I have planned is a SmartDoll Sana, with the large bust. I really like the color she’s shown in, and her face is actually really cute. I’m really enamoured with the idea of getting her a curly or wavy long, white wig and red eyes. I have an idea for the wig, but I want to check out all my options before committing, and I’m looking for eyes I like. I also like the idea of getting her a pair of the LeekeWorld Incubus horns.

I haven’t settled on a clothing style for her as of yet. I’m enjoying a shy girl for her personality, and clothing that reflects that would be best. She’s the only one who may have a name, but it’s pretty much just her sculpt name. My naming custom is long and involved, and though I actually don’t like it, I’m compelled to see it through. So anytime I can take a shortcut, I do!

Thinking of these three together, I have a vague notion for a story, but nothing concrete. I certainly look forward to having one or more of them home and put together.
