She braces herself against another gust as she looks out, down the slope of the hill--could that glittering shape in the distance possibly be--?!? Note: I got up early to take these in the first dawn light. It was about 0 centigrade and the place where I took this had a very steep incline and a lot of ice on the steps from a recent snowstorm, so it wasn't safe to keep taking photos to continue the story, but I'd like to come back there when it is not so icy. I was disappointed that you can't really see it at this angle (I was shooting from below, standing further down the steps) because the layering looks quite cute IRL. Heh, it is to my great disappointment that I haven't been able to find any pants in the right size for her. Since she's on an Obi50 (her head, wrist parts, and hands are Volks, and eventually she'll be on a DDP), DD pants are too big, and MDD pants are far too short. Thus, the poor girl is underdressed in every winter photograph I post. I was pretty worried about her falling in one of the gusts! I actually moved her to a place where if she fell she'd fall on snow and not concrete, and wedging her feet into the snow helped with stability.
