Our Generation 1/3 scale props

I was just at Target the other day, and happened to look at their brand of dolls called Our Generation. Their clothes are all too bulky to fit, but they did have a few really adorable accessory sets that looked like they'd be the perfect scale for DD. (I don't have mine yet, so I can't compare, but I do have a few 1/3 scale BJDs and they work well for them!)

 

It appears that they have more sets that aren't listed on the website, because I got two that aren't listed there. I got one with drawing supplies (pencils, paint brushes, a sketchbook with sketches already in it, a drawing mannequin) and one with kitchen supplies (some food, bowls, pots and pans, etc) and the scale is mostly perfect for my 1/3 scale dolls.

 

WalMart also has a brand called My Life As with similar props, but they seem to be a little more on the bulky side for DD. Some things could work.

 

Just thought I'd give a heads up! They're pretty great props for $10-$15 per set!

I bought the skater girl set and the hat and tshirt work great on my DDS. The skateboard is really great, too. The shorts look like she's in a diaper, though

I've had some good luck with Our Generation props, too--I totally caved for the big science set. I love the light-up bunsen burner and microscope, and all the chemistry stuff. The skeleton has some structural integrity issues, but everything else was awesome!

 

I've gotten a few other small bits and bobs--some other science stuff, a birdhouse-and-tools set that was adorable--and am so tempted to go for the the traveller suitcase and the sewing room sets even though I don't have room to store them.

I just looked up that science set, and had to order it. Perfect for Mari, my resident DD mad scientist.

I'm linking what I thought were some of the better-looking ones. From pictures they seem to vary a lot from ones where the props look really good like the science set to some where everything looks very toy-like.

Almost all of my Dollfie props are from the Walmart "My Life As" collection. 

If you are savvy with modifying clothing you can tailor -some- of the clothing to fit Dollfie as well. ...My dollfie Yui used to wear a T-shirt & shorts combo that I purchased at Walmart on clearance for $1. I think the items are too big for smaller dolls like MDD but the scale isn't -too- bad for Dollfie imo. ...I have even modified a few headwear pieces from that line. .....Right now my Dollfie is actually wearing the Roller Blades from the Target Our Generation series! They are a bit large for her feet and she surely cannot stand up in them but they are cute. I need to get some photos of her in them!
