Who would like to modify and paint a head for me, please?

Hello there, I hope I chose the right sub-forum to ask my question, otherwise, please redirect me.

 

I have a KOS-MOS head that had been through a lot. I couldn't possibly bond with it, so I decided to do what I usually did to my resin dolls - I modified it to my taste. Well, almost.

 

What still needs to be done:

1. More mods on her nose, similar to Sasara's but longer. Maybe mods on her lips and eyes sockets.

2. Removing the remains of her face-up without soaking her in acetone. De-staining her eye sockets would be great too, but not a must.

3. Minimalistic anime face-up that could give her more badass or serious look, like Kanu Uncho or even Sinon or Kirito. Maybe even slightly grumpy. No raised lip corners!!! Minimal use of sealant - her previous face-up was all cracked and I still can't take it all off!.. THE character I'd really like to create:

 

About me.

1. I am an extremely picky customer, we have to discuss all the details beforehand. Including doing a few mock face-ups.

2. I am very patient and have good manners. It means that I will give you hard time in a nice way.

3. I always keep my promises and always pay well and according to our agreement.

What have you used to remove sealant?

 

I've used 91% alcohol the three times I've done it and have always been able to remove everything by continuing to wipe with soaked paper towels and a soft toothbrush to get in the cracks, and the alcohol won't damange the vinyl like acetate or various other solvents.

What have you used to remove sealant?

I used 70% alcohol first with little or no results and then acetone-free nail polish remover and a toothbrush. Almost everything is gone, but the lips are still pink and GLOSSY and I couldn't take out that black paint in the corners of the mouth.

Bottom line - I bit off more than I can chew. My hands are not as strong as they were a few years ago, this is why I am looking for someone who can do the job for me and am willing to pay for it adequately.

It's likely the lip gloss is a different base chemical that's resistant to what you've tried.

 

Hopefully you will get some responses that are what you are looking for. My impression is some of the artists that used to post their work and update here no longer do so. With that said, I will mention a few artists I know of that will, or will not, do the head modifications as that limits your choices somewhat.

I think you are absolutely right. I will try to get that 90% alcohol to see if it will do anything. I will also ask in our local paint store what kind of solvents do they have.

I was lurking around this sub-forum for a while. Yes, x3Ashley, Bellatrix or Freya_21 would definitely be my choice if no one else is up for a challenge. I was also thinking of getting in touch with jadepixels, not sure if they are still doing comissions or not. Koala Krash is also amazing, I'm just not sure if she will agree to do a minimalistic face-up.

I know I once saw a pretty normal-style faceup by Koala Krash; I remember it because I was surprised it was theirs.

 

I wanted to also mention what I used to get everything out of the mouth cracks and ears, pointy-tipped foam swabs. I'm sure something similar is available elsewhere but these are what I used:
