Azone Lil Fairy Different Hand Comparison

Recommended Posts

Lil Fairy Picco Neemo dolls have big hands! Some people are put off by them and look for different hands to use! I made this blog post on MFC when the first Lil Fairy was released!

Onward to the blog:

Having owned both bodies for a Nendoroid hybrid custom(sorta nsfw?) I knew that the big hands didn't have to stay!
There is nothing wrong with the big hands themselves, in fact I've grown rather fond of them after a while of looking at other owners pics, that said I much prefer the ones I own to have the small hands.

I thought I'd share some handy advice for those who, like me, do not want those big hands on our little maids. (I am so sorry for that pun. So sorry. OTL )

1) Obitsu Hands
This is the cheapest option given that you can buy a pack of hands for about 500 yen. The hands I used were from my 25cm body. You need to cut off the rounded bit at the end of their pegs for them to sit flush with the wrists. This will not effect their use with obitsus though!

They are still pretty big but they're a bit better. Plus the rubbery hands are good at gripping onto things.

2) PiccoNeemo D hybrid
This one's a more pricy and slightly wasteful as you need to buy a whole blank normal hand body (the one with the small hands and feet) but it means you always have spare parts if something goes wrong.
You simply pop off the arms above the elbow joint and boom!

They are the size I was personally after but their downside? No wrist joint. Which brings us to...

Same as above but instead of the default hands you use figma hands instead. The pegs are about the same thickness but if you find it hard to slot the peg in you can always heat up the wrist in hot water for the first time. I used lucky star hands in the shot below because I thought it looked cute.

But I like lots of articulation so...

Ah the new figma wrist joints. Love them or hate them they seem they will be here to stay.
I personally love them. And they fit the picco neemo bodies fine.

But of course. The big hands are still pretty cute in their own way!

This post is fantastically helpful! So cute! I really love the big hands myself, but I also think the little ones are super cute as well. Thank you for doing this comparison.  :)

I'm glad it's been helpful! It's quite old now and I'm sure there's even more hands that can be used by now!
