question about cool cat stand

I just went through Cool Cat site because I would like to buy a stand for my dolls.

I had read here cool cat stands are great. I think I remember U stands were especially great.

I am a bit lost though because there are a few differents stands.

For now I have only DD2 and DDS. Most use of the stand would be for a DDS, to try to make poses to sketch. I saw they have special DDS stands but these are thigh stands, not U.

So my question would be : does a DD U stand from Cool cat fit a DDS or would it be too high please?

The DD2 stand is a bit too high for the DDS body. It will fit if she is wearing high heels.

By U stand do you mean saddle stands?

 

The volks ones are adjustable so they can be made to suit a DDS body.

Just to update this thread, now Coolcat has also saddle stand for DDS.
