They sold both of them during the last event on Volks USA, so there's at least a few more in circulation. I would definitely keep an eye on Facebook groups such as Dollfie Dream Adoption and Chat, that's where I found my Rin!

Rin & Len periodically get re-released through Volks USA. They are probably old stock, so it's hard to say if this will go on indefinitely but your odds are probably good if you are in Volks USA's market area.

Edit: Sorry just noticed on your profile that you are in Australia. Volks Japan releases them at the Magical Mirai events, but I think those are only available at the event site itself.

Yeah, although some of the Facebook groups are pretty picky about requirements to join, it does make me feel a lot safer. Best of luck in your search! I really hope you'll be able to find her for a reasonable price! 😊

just in case you didn't know... us australians can go through shopmate if we want to buy from Volks USA. you'll be absolutely gutted for shipping, but if you're that desperate it's certainly an option!

Recently though for some reason Rin hasn't been included in the Magimirai lineups so maybe they really dont have excess stock of her. It's weird that they sell Len and not Rin at those events...
It would be difficult to arrange a proxy because besides having to get into the event itself, the Volks booth is famously hellish with a single cash register (people complain every year) and people are lined up for a ridiculously long time, so a proxy would probably want adequate compensation. I really have no idea the chance of a rerelease though. Rin is very popular and her price seems to have increased the most out of all the vocaloid dolls, so maybe a lot of people did vote for her, but I also can't really imagine them rereleasing her without Len, who doesnt seem like he was popular enough.

Those taxes are crazy in Australia.  AUD$1000 for the Doll, then dont forget Packing /postage/ handling fee and on top VAT tax. Your looking at AUD$1345 or near. But that is not a bad price. I'm sure Volks will do a re-release soon. I have no doubt about that.
