I guess I'll just post pictures I've taken here. :V 

Hopefully, having my own thread will motivate me to take pictures and do things with my dolls. (No promises though)

Sorry for posting so much lately. I'm trying to practice post processing and editing my pictures a little since I'm rusty. Pretty sure my colors are whack, but I think it looks OK.

To be honest, I haven't actually taken many pictures of her since I got her.
No name for her yet, but she's been hanging out on my computer desk since the Dolpa in LA After Event. 
She had yellowish/hazel eyes originally, but I yanked them out and replaced them with Makoeyes that I got from a friend.
Oh, she also came to me with the white hime-cut wig, but I traded for the braided one with someone local who got a Clover.

Thanks for the info on your Terra!  If you come across another of those white wigs, please let me know.  I've been looking for one for my Tawny and they don't seem to sell it at Volks by itself.

Is the Icon hime white wig similar to the Doll Point Dream hime white wig? I looked at some pics of Tawny and they look pretty close. The DDdy Miko is wearing the Dream wig here: https://www.volks.co.jp/ddgathering/2018/en/

@Beani @baldylox: Yeah they’re the same as the Doll Point wig hahaha. It’s actually one of my favorite wigs!

My D’COORD I got in December 2018 came with one lol.

I had two of them already which is why I traded for somethin’ different. They shouldn’t be hard to find I think!

Thanks so much everyone!  Every search I tried gave me zero results on the Volks website.  I'm glad it's actually available albiet only from Dollpoint.  But I think Beani has provided a way around that issue of mine.  😄

 

Thanks again for the quick replies and help on this!  Now my Tawny can be *exactly* as I first saw her in the Volks promo photo.... the way I fell for her.

A hatsoon michael for today. Not really a fan of my Faux-RibbonGirl wig that I got from Cotindoll. 

I kinda like the wig, but it does have that sort of helmet of hair look going on because of the way the fibers puff out so much on the sides so that her head looks even more huge than it already is.

Did you make eyes for your Miku? They look better than the Volks originals which I think give her a kind of blank look. I used to think there was something about her sculpt that bothered me, but I think it's really just the default eyes.

@cfx While I do make my own eyes... The ones I have in Miku right now are from Jadepixel. http://jadepixel.storenvy.com/products/28724812-22mm-urethane-eyes-twinkle-jade-glitter-b I was lucky to pick them up at the LA dolpa this year. 

I keep offloading a bunch of pictures I took up in Marin County.

Jadepixel's stuff was really nice. I didn't have the money left for any of it, but it was great seeing the quality of her work in person.
