Sometimes, I do edit the colors of his eyes a little because they're supposed to be "purple/red/orange" instead of "purple/red". I've just been severely lacking in motivation to make eyes lately. Haha, that just shows how much the look is changed by the wig, and perhaps the eye color edit. I think the fact the wig covers the purple/blue eyebrows likely makes quite a difference. cfx Posted May 30, 2020 (edited) Oh that's nice. I like her sculpt, but I feel the Volks faceup is pretty crude and doesn't make her look good. You kept a similar style but much prettier and I think she looks great. Also I see yours doesn't seem to be yellowed. Everytime I see an Excellen on Mandarake it seems like her head is always significantly yellowed. I never noticed before that she has just a hint of nostrils! cfx Posted May 30, 2020 (edited) Very interesting; Rise's face looks so angular by comparison. Excellen has that full round face with more space between her mouth and chin. Older anime was often like this and I like that style. I think that there aren't too many DDs with that aesthetic--Excellen, Mirai/Candy, Mari, Moe/Natsuki, and I think Miki Hoshii has a bit of that look (maybe part of why I find her so cute).
