The images look really nice! First of all, the key to good photography is usually some decent lighting conditions and lots of trial-and-error (turning into experience). So whatever camera you have right now, play around with it (and its settings) and don't get discouraged if not everything ends up as a perfect picture. I use my trusty Canon EOS 60D with a Canon EF-S 17-85mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM (a slightly more sophisticated kit lens). For my indoor doll photos, I usually have the camera mounted to a tripod and also use a Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT as a remote flash (with the diffuser mounted and pointed straight up at the ceiling).
