SUPER late Halloween pics! LOTS OF THEM

Sheesh.  How did I forget to post these photos?  No clue really.  But here they are now!  😄 

 

Every year our local doll group gets together at my house to have a Halloween party.  Everyone has to dress up and so do the dolls.  We cook out, we watch some TV and then we have a big bonfire!

But this year we decided to do something a little different.  Since the whole Covid thing is a thing, we hadn't done any big meets in a while.  So one of our Charlotte peeps had a great idea..... to build a haunted house in my garage!  No, not people sized....  DOLL SIZED.  😄 

 

So she came down a day early and we worked on it for a day and a half.  And I think it turned out really nicely.  Pics are below but first we get to see some of the dolls that showed up along with some other things!

The back door was locked so Sprout had to go into the garage.... the HAUNTED GARAGE!!!

The bright lights on the floor were actually strobe lights.  The camera never could catch them not flashing on.  😉

We cut a little window into the hallway for a jump scare type setup.  We designed the hallway and the rest of it to resemble both a Japanese High School Festival and a Matsuri style atmosphere.  Hence the black walls and hanging ball lights and such.

Thanks so much!  It felt like it took forever to get it all together and working but we all had lots of fun taking photos in it.    The Halloween meet is always our biggest so we try to go all out every year.  😉

Thank you!  We had a great time setting it all up and taking photos with it.  Halloween is my favorite holiday so we always go big on the doll meet then.

Thank you very much!  It took about a day for me and a friend to set it all up.  It was totally worth it tho!  I don't know if we will do another haunted house this year but we always do a Halloween meet!  We'll see how it goes and I'll post pics of whatever we do for sure.  😄

I'm only seeing this thread now, so it feels like I'm getting spooks in early rather than late. I know, I know, the date is from last year, but it's definitely making me want to get the spooky costumes together for my dolls (and I only really need two costumes.)

Really like the setup. Wish I had the space to put all that together, haha.

Hopefully you'll get some more posted this year, and maybe a little earlier!?

Yeah it popped up randomly due to a question but I'm glad people are still enjoying it! Halloween is our biggest doll meet of the year and it's also my favorite holiday so we do things up big!  It's definitely nice to have the garage area to do doll things in.  And I will do my best to post pics as soon as I can this time around.  😉
