dollymoonbright Posted December 17, 2020 hi all!! i'm riley, she/her, 26 years old. i used to collect bjds but left the hobby (twice) because they were just too expensive for me to justify as a poor & disabled person :c the doll forum i was a member of when i collected always kinda looked down on dolls that weren't Proper BJDs™ and i guess i internalized that, but i recently discovered just how adorable, customizable and affordable other types of dolls can be!! i joined the dollfie dreams discord a few days ago and so far it's been really fun, so i'm hopping over to the forum now! when i collected bjds i did my own faceups, made my own wigs and made most of my own clothes and accessories too. i loved dolls so much because it was a way to combine all my crafty hobbies and my love of photography into one big hobby! tomorrow i'm ordering my first vinyl doll from parabox and couldn't be more excited 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
