Veravey Posted May 26, 2021 (edited) I purchased a Ranka head in February off Mandarake for a shell; her DDdy body will be arriving as soon as Volks JP ships! However, this will be my first DD and I just wanted to confirm: is Ranka NS tone? Google tells me yes but I'm paranoid... I have no other Volks products to compare to, and photos are difficult to compare to. Plus, she's so much lighter than my cinnamon SmD, but I believe that's normal for Volks' skin tones? If she has a smaller head, then the voluptuous DDDy body may look too big. I don’t think Sheryl Nome would look good on DDDy, but she has a very small face for a DD. Ranka seems like she has more of a traditional anime face than Sheryl, so her head may fit better. “Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction. I chose her before I found her on Mandarake actually; I'm making an older sister type character that's very sweet, so her elongated nose and big eyes met in the middle nicely. A lot of the more mature looking DD head molds have colder eyes (or less kind looking? sharper?). I know Sheryl looks older but Ranka fit the personality a bit better. Plus, she'll be older than my other girls but she'll like to make herself look younger. So when her head was there the first time I looked, I kind of took it as a sign.
