apag22 Posted October 28, 2021 Hey all! I have recently become interested in Blythes, but have a few questions about them. My first question is about the Aliexpress listings for "blythes"... These are considered recasts, correct? I know Blythe went away for a hot minute and was brought back by another company, so I don't know if in that time they maybe sold the rights/molds? My second question is about their bodies. I have seen an interesting mix of bodies for these dolls. Do different releases have different body types? I know I have seen some people say they put the heads on OB bodies. Thanks in advance for your answers Yes, they are recasts. The community often refers to them as 'factory blythe'.
