OK so after BJDCon's sea theme now Hana is obsessed with all things sea. This is convenient because we live next to the sea.

I took her out for an early morning paddle. Unfortunately there was no sea today. Also we don't have any MDD swimming outfits. So it was all rather a waste of time really.

Hopefully Hana won't now get a chill from eating ice cream at 8am.

You can tell the look on her face is, "but I wanna go swimmin!!!"

Uzuki is 4 years old next weekend. How time flies.

When she arrived I was entranced by her big brown eyes. When they caught the late evening light sometimes it looked as if she was really alive.

I used to dress her up quite a bit but now I've settled on her default outfit as her forever outfit. She's such a sweetie and is practically the only member of the doll household who has never had a stain or been involved in any other crazy incident.

Towa and I took 18 long months deciding who Towa's first sister would be. We definitely made a good decision.

Edit: throwback to the old days. Kizuna AI was arrival #3. Her birthday's not until August though.

I took Miku to Hyper Japan again. This time we took 3 outfits and a legion of accessories.

The Googly-Eyed one again thrilled the hoomans and I guess kind of made up for the Sylvanian Families stand not being there this year.

Find of the day was a stall selling doll weaponry. Two amazing things: the handguns are identically sized to the ones DDS Takina and Chisato come with. But Miku has onion green versions!

I'll post more photos later and also some videos to our insta.

Miku also met a DD Kaede, a couple of other dolls, some hooman idols and watched a brilliant performance by the hoomans known as Avangardy. Now Hana wants a black bowl-head wig like her white one so she can cosplay as them 😂.

The only unfortunate incident of the day was somebody calling her a Smart Doll. I can only say thank goodness these were not fully loaded at the time.

It was a fun day out and Miku got home safely in one piece.
