MAKYUU Posted yesterday at 03:09 PM My imomo tiamat came in this week! Gave her a faceup and some cute clothes. Coming from resin BJDs, I too have fixed the head wobble with the help of hot glue. I want to work on the rest of her body as well. 2.0 poses OK and can stand on its own with little effort, but I really want to do something about the large knee gaps when she sits, there's still a bunch of that looseness I want to work out. Does anyone have tips for that knee gap?

Does anyone have tips for that knee gap? Personally I've been stuffing the thighs with pieces of tissue, specifically the back of the thigh behind the skeleton. I press it in there firmly so it can support the rod and keep it from wiggling around inside the thigh. I've mostly done it so the knees aren't so "floaty" when the doll is standing, but maybe it will help with the sitting issue too? Pixel art by @PlasticJester ! Only annoyance is that you have to remove them whenever you need to remove the head from the body. https://www.dolldreaming.com/topic/17243-tierparkzones-doll-photos/?do=findComment&comment=312736 For reference, Milly's head is a Tiamat (in case neck hole size might differ between sculpts - haven't handled many other Imomo heads). Oh your Milly looks great! Is the head wobbly at all with the MDD silicone rings? My biggest annoyance with the Imomo body was that even with the silicone neck donut, the winged screws, and putty jammed in the back of the head gap and around the peg, the head was STILL wobbly. I would happily trade having to remove all the silicone rings if it means the head is stable!

I had the wobbliness in the beginning, when I only used about two silicone rings. As long as the lowermost ring stays down and clamps the head between itself and the neck vinyl, the head is pretty stable. The extra rings (I basically used all the ones included with the body) are just there to keep the lowermost ring from sliding up. 1 Photo Story - Photo Thread - make your own signature like this
