✦ Obitsu 50 boy clothing & try on thread ✦

Hi all, 
I thought I'd make a thread catering specifically to those of us who are looking for more clothing suggestions for our Parabox/Obitsu 50 boys! I have one and while I love him, finding male clothing that looks good on this size can be pretty difficult. I realise that there are already some really good clothing discussion threads here, but they seem to be more focused on the 40-50cm girls? So I thought it'd be nice to have a boy specific thread just for convenience. I hope this is of interest to people • ᴗ •; 
Helping me today is Loric. He's a DDH16 hybrid (not his usual wig) with DD hands/wrist joints. 



Let's start with some Volks - this is the 1/3 Herbalist boy shirt and waistcoat. It's a little roomy of course, but imo it looks cute with the sleeves rolled up. 



Let's add the cloak - feels and looks bulky, but I don't hate this. 



Here's the outfit with the cloak from Volks 1/3 girl Lady Wizard set - this cloak is a brilliant fit imo! 



Of course, the Herbalist Boy pants were huge and didn't fit at all. I also have the MSD boy version of this outfit. The shirt and waistcoat just about squeezed on but overall it was far too small. 
Moving on - here's the Volks Cecile in the Boyhood 1/3 shirt! It had massive lace cuffs that I didn't like anyway so I tucked them inside the sleeves and it actually fits very nicely. 



Rest of the fit (minus pants as ofc they dropped off him) is oversized but I like this look.  



Moving onto some dealer stuff - ALG isn't easy to get hold of these days but this MSD shirt, given it's oversized design, is a perfect fit for 50cms! 



Melody C is a popular dealer and I have more of their items than I'd care to admit. ^^; This MSD sized cropped coat is a nice fit but I own 3 pairs of their shorts, and would NOT recommend them for a 50cm. The construction is delicate and I felt like I was stretching them to get them on, so maybe stick to the roomier tops. 



Lastly - another popular shop - Psycho Labs. This shirt was in the SD+ size, and it's huuuge. The size is adjustable from the back but I wouldn't recommend their SD stuff for 50cm unless you like very oversized! I have an MSD version but it absolutely would require head removal to wear, and I couldn't get his head off to try it lol. With some pants and boots, I'd actually dress him like this. 

So far what I'm finding is that lots of tops can be worn as long as you don't mind a baggy or oversized fit, but I think trousers are going to be hard to find for these guys ^^;

These are great, thank you for sharing! I do not have a male 50cm doll, just a DDP, but I love seeing how the fit works for this height 😄

thank you! yesss, I was hoping it'd be useful to the DDP etc owners too haha. I'm hoping to get a DDP one day too!  

I wonder how the Spring Magic Boy Mini for MSD would fit him. The style seems right up his alley!
