shipping estimate after Volks's "slow shipping" email

So, I did a bad and splurged with the most recent drop. That is now 13 days ago and of course I received Volk's email regarding the shipping of products due to too many orders.

Now, I am used to Volks shipping orders in 10-14 days but I am not yet used to the shipping estimates with these delays.

 

Does anyone have experience with this? How long did it take them to ship in the end?

 

(Not worried or upset or anything, just wanna know when I need to put aside money for the customs taxes because those will be bad... oops.)

Depends...  Lately, it's taken an extra week or two. Back during the pandemic, shipping could sometimes take more than a month.

yeah during the pandemic was about the last time I ordered. Thanks for your response!

I ordered my Volks News 101 on the 10th, and it just shipped on the 27th. I'd expect the event stuff from the 16th will ship next week or the week after. 

Mine have usually taken a couple of weeks for them to box up the order, then 4-5 days for DHL to deliver to the UK. The slowest order we had was when we ordered a few things that had just been released.

They might be really busy putting the Rins and Lens together right now.

My order just got shipped! With DHL so it'll arrive super quickly. Bit confused about it being DHL though, I always had my orders shipped with EMS after covid. But hopefully it won't cause issues (DHL is a bit difficult with imports here lately...) Anyway that's... 17 days after I ordered so that's not too bad.

This was just the topic I came to post, thank you! I made my first online order last week, (so 13 since my last in person Volks shop!) and I was worrying about the shipping time: I don’t mind waiting as long as I have some idea of how long to wait.
