seaslugs Posted December 30, 2023 Hello, I've been lurking for a while but finally decided to make an introduction post since I'm trying to be more active in the social parts of my hobbies. I've been collecting vinyl dolls for a bit over a year after a long break from dolls. I was into resin BJDs circa 2007 but fell out of the hobby due to how expensive it can be. I'm a lifelong fan of Utena, so when the DDs came out I was instantly drawn in. I kept telling myself that I couldn't get back into dolls, but eventually they won me over and I ended up buying DDS Anthy. Of course, Utena had to come along a few months after. I most recently acquired DD Y'shtola (another doll that tempted me back into the hobby - that season was dangerous for my wallet). I also have a few resin boys from back in the day that have been getting some more TLC, and a growing collection of smaller off topic dolls. I'm looking forward to being more active in the forums. Rajke Posted December 31, 2023 Welcome to the forums The BJD hobby is an expensive hobby but I think it’s worth it. Like with Resin dolls, vinyl ones are addictive too. Baldylox knows everything about that. Feel free to post some photo’s of your doll family. We do like photo’s around here.
