DD-F3 Hip instability

Recommended Posts

sunlightandtea

I have a dollfie dream dd-f3 that's about four years old now, and I have been having some issues with the legs randomly popping off (it is a little funny to see).

I used to keep the doll in a sitting on her knees kind of position, then she was kept in storage in the dollfie dream box upright for about two years, and now she sits on a shelf like a person would, legs out, calves facing down.

However, whenever I go to move the doll now out of the sitting position and bend it at the hips, the legs will often fall out of the hip socket. I try my best to align the notches in the socket but it still seems very unsteady.

Any advice on how to handle this?

The F3 bodies use a notched leg attachment setup so if the notch in the pegs isn't lined up perfectly, the legs tend to be loose and come off easily.  Just take them off and when putting them back on, make sure to line up the notches correctly while giving the legs/hips a good solid push together.  It's more fiddly than it should be but once they're in properly, they'll stay that way.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
