Amapola Posted April 2 I have quite a bit of dolls and while I had already have a lot of stands, it's still not enough for all of them. However, most of the doll stands on the market aren't what I would like to use to display my dolls design wise, so has anyone here made doll stands themselves? What method did you use? I'm aware that I can 3d model a stand but are there any other alternatives that you have used? I'm thinking of using polymer clay and wire, but I'm not sure of the structural integrity of using such materials as well as if it can cause staining or any other reactions to vinyl. Stupid_Hoomun Posted April 2 I 3D printed a stand for my DD Sirius who's body was strung. It supported her at the waist and did the job but took ages to print so I never made anymore for my other dolls and just got some from Ali express. The best stand I've seen is the magnetic one that came with my Azone Yuyu. It is a simple metal disc and she has magnets in her feet. I've not tried to see how stable it is for posing but just for displaying her standing I think its perfect.
